G1Convoy1701
ok if your like me you know how much you want more control over the speed of the car your driving I am not talking about Cruse Control or Manual Transmission no. What I am talking about a simple and maybe comulcated CLEO Mod that will allow you to better control your driving speed go with traffic or speed as much as you can set speed to sertin point like 25KM or 15KM (I am from Canada sorry) or set to reaguler speed as max speed if someone can help me make that that would be great and why not get a digital Speed Meater there with all the treamings so please let me know what you think and how it can be done becuase I would like to learn how to do it and if someone can help me

aStiffSausage
Ill play around with this, its possible and I know the correct op code to go with. If you can make it, would it be possible that I could edit it for my own purpose (control max-speed)? It would really be awesome to get it configurated well for my speedlimit/speedometer. Rodent
Gave it a shot, unfortunately I can not get the game to stop pushing the car at full accelerate even if the speed is limited with a key press. just generates smoke and jerks around a lot. My bet would be to just get the wanted car speed to a key press and use that to accelerate it instead the games real accelerate. Just gave it a try with not much luck. It worked better, but that is like saying a toaster that catches fire cooks better. I think a game controller (PS2 and Xbox ones work on the PC) or a memory hack which is something I'm not good at yet, would be the only way to control max speed with a keyboard since the op code for that is useless. Rodent
I can't really teach you personally do to the fact that SCM modding might as well be "introduction to computer coding" but there is a way to get a feel for it. that is studying the sanny builder guide daily like its a class at school or the old fashion way. Open up sanny builder and start playing around with existing simple CLEO/SCM scripts you download and get a feel for it (For personal use if its just a lightly tweeked mod). You have to break a lot before getting a good result and learning how they work. After that making your own that you can upload starts getting easy(er). I have been doing both for 8 years (4 with SA) with Doom, GTA3, VC, SA, Spore, World in conflict, and a few other games, and still can't crank out what zaz does. you need at least 10,000 hours of doing this kind of stuff which can take 15 years to get really good.
