padilha Posted May 21, 2011 Share Posted May 21, 2011 I beat the game, but i lost a lot of Lost members in missions and gang wars. Now i'm gonna beat the game 100% this time and try to make it without Lost members killed. In the mission "It's War", every time I try, every time my friends get killed. Poor Earl and Hank... The problem is: i am sure that i killed the enemies near them, but they always die... suddenly! Is it possible to beat this mission with Earl and Hank alive? HenningM92 Posted May 22, 2011 Share Posted May 22, 2011 I cant recall those names from TLaD, but judging by what you're saying it seems to me that the mission is scripted so that they'll always die. Check out some playthrough guides and see if their names are mentioned there? Anyhow they don't have anything to do with the storyline, and the game will generate new bikers for your gang once someone dies. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Lancet Posted May 22, 2011 Share Posted May 22, 2011 Instead of staying with your gang, rush to the site of the battle, leaving the others behind. This allows you to fight without them being present. padilha Posted May 22, 2011 Author Share Posted May 22, 2011 Yeah, Lancet. That's the way i tried after some fails, and worked. Just abandon the gang and rush to the first battle to kill all enemies. Don't remember using the Lost members on this mission. I'm completed 15 gang wars without any friend dead. My formation is: Johnny, Jim, Terry, Clay, Earl and Hank. Lancet Posted May 22, 2011 Share Posted May 22, 2011 The mission where you bust the diamond deal always kills the bottom two (or three?) guys on your roster. This is inevitable and guaranteed (for reasons you see in TBoGT). The only other story mission that puts your cohorts in (avoidable) harm's way is End of Chapter. Keeping everyone alive there requires a ton of luck, being able to leave cover and drop at least 3-4 enemy bikers in the span of about 2.5 seconds, then finishing the mission maintaining that standard of excellence.
