How custom music plays in my game...

Ok, so I put custom music in the correct folder...it plays the music. But I notice that it doesn't play the tracks randomly like Andreas and GTA 3 do....

 

It plays them in the order that they are in the folder...which kinda sucks because I don't want a predictable music pattern. Plus I want a chance to hear all the tracks I placed in that folder, who knows how long I'll be playing it in one go....

 

I was wondering, is there a way to make the files play randomly?

This Mod at GTAGarage, will allow the MP3 Player Station to be like the SA one-where you can change tracks by pressing F4 or F5. This is the only way to be able to randomize the tracks for VC-there is a similar tool for III as well, if you're interested. HTH.

It's a shame though, that it can't be random v_v

Well I downloaded it, I put the files in the directory it says to. However I am lost as how to configure it. As playing the game and trying to use the mod doesn't work. The readme isn't really clear on what to do....at least not to me.

 

Of course I have tried pressing f4, f5, and f6 anyway but nothing happens.

Ok so I found out you can open .cfg files in word or note pad....so I did just that. So I try to "adapt" the file to "my needs" as the readme says....however I can't save anything I do

 

I just can't get it to work v_v
