It's still my favorite thing to do with DYOM. I've done two mafia mission packs myself. The first one was The Don And His Gun which told a ''from rags to richies'' kinds of story, where the protagonist helped his Mafia Family to raise to the top, with a betrayal later on the end. There was also my Forelli Brothers BUYSAG, which was about true mafia business where the protagonist had to move the mob to a new city and raise it. FB was much more a funnier attempt with many jokes in it, a little like The Sopranos. But this time, it's something else. ''Everyone opens up his own place. His own Sanctuary he believes in. But what do you believe in? Who are you, Cosimo?''- Gina Capre Los Santos, 2011. The Story Of Cosimo Bettino is not another rise-to-the-top tale. Cosimo was always a honest man, serving his country in need. One day though he must come back to his f*cked up family in Los Santos, where he gets disrespected by the mobsters and his own father and the Don of the Crime Family, Nevio Bettino. Cosimo will have to experience the pains and gains of the Family with his own eyes against his own will, until one day there's not an option left for him. He will become the young boss of the Family, which is going to drastically change his personality. Before you play, keep something in mind; this is a story-based mission series, it won't be another ''go shoot them up they r enemy'' kind of series. This will contain drama and we will be connected to the characters, everyone has his unique personality. The first missions will possibly gameplay-wise be just driving around. I was thinking about this becoming a fan fic first. If the mission series won't be successful, I'm gonna turn this into a fan fic. Cosimo The protagonist of the series. Born in Rome and serving the country, this time supporting them in a special operation in Russia. At the start of the story, he is 27. As a kid, he has seen drugs, guns and blood because of his father's business which started about after his mother's death. His father, Nevio and Cosimo's brother, Luca wanted to move on with their lives and pursued the American Dream in Los Santos. Cosimo knew that the business is exactly what destroyed everything. That's why he joined the military. He never wanted to get involved with the mafia. Cosimo did everything he could to impress his father and tried to show him that criminality is not everything. Nevio never listened. His family isn't everything though. Cosimo used to have a girlfriend by the name Gina, a beautiful girl from Italy. Just before the proposal, a rival mafia family attacked them. They both survived but Gina didn't want to see Cosimo ever again, because of the danger around him. So, his family destroys him and the people around him. Why is he trying to impress them? Cosimo will change during his journey. This log will be updated with the progress of the story: 1. Cosimo is a wealthy, honest man who serves the country. There's nothing left for him than the brothers in arms. He dislikes his own family because of their business. He avoids it by all costs. Cosimo often makes jokes at the army, he's happy that he can be there. He doesn't really have a problem with holding a gun: enemies are enemies after all. He always has a picture of Gina with him, just for the memory. He never did and doesn't want to do drugs, even if the Mob does. Supporting Characters Keep in mind that the characters will also be updated. Nevio Bettino Cosimo's father and the Don of the Bottino Crime Family. Nevio always pursued everything he wanted and he still does. He gets everything he wants. If not, there will be consequences. His wife was killed in Italy by a rival Crime Family, which made Nevio move to America to get a better life for his sons... or for the fake Vinewood tits, nobody knows. Luca Bettino Cosimo's brother and Underboss of the Bottino Crime Family. Luca always supported his father. They wouldn't get as far without him, maybe that's why Cosimo and Luca hate each other that much. Luca is a brave and smart man, he always thinks twice before making an decision. Gina Capre Cosimo's ex-girlfriend. Still lives in Italy after the shootout that ended the young love. Missions Awake Topic under construction.
