Hawkseye
Hey guys Ok, so I'm having a bit of an issue with my gfx on both TLAD and TBoGT, but not on GTA:IV (Works perfectly as it should). Basically to describe this black tar, I'd say its a shadow/reflection bug of some sort as its always around, but never beneath my vehicle. It has an odd shine to it as if though it was wet tar and it's never in the same location: it stays around the player, but stops when I stop. In-game screenshot of the bug: In-game screenshot Settings 1 Settings 2 Game specs and information: EFLC.exe Version: 1.1.0.0 - Fresh install, no mods or previous mods - I updated GTA:IV to patch 1.0.7.0 before I installed EFLC. I Un-installed both applications with a clean start and then updated them to the 1.0.7.0 patch together and still have the same issue. GTA:IV resumes to function normally, whereas both TBoGT and TLAD are still messed up. Computer specs: AMD Athlon 64x 3200+ 2GB RAM ATI RADEON 5450 1 GB (Driver recently updated) Windows XP service pack 3 Any help on the issue is greatly appreciated. Thanks, -Hawkseye
mkey82
I have seen a number of odd graphics bugs (everything black or green or red, sometimes people get everything in wireframe and purple etc.) but never any actual solutions. It's probably down to some corrupt driver setting, but this is pure speculation. You may want to try a doing a fresh GPU driver install, with a driver sweeper run and possibly a crapcleaner registry cleanup run also, but I really doubt that will get you anywhere. Sniperrrman
Yes, try a fresh reinstall of your driver. Looks like a rendering bug..
JiM-4a2c
Yes, try a fresh reinstall of your driver. Looks like a rendering bug.. You're absolutely right. I had a somewhat same texture problem, Everything in game used to flicker.. I removed all my previous drivers using drive cleaner or something and did a fresh install of the updated drivers and problems got fixed.. Maybe you too should give it a shot. radioman
First off, Lower the in-game settings. You do not have enough usuable RAM for the game to work properly, as XP uses between 600MB and 1GB for the OS itself, so, that leaves less than the 2GB of RAM required to run the game(as per the Box the game comes in). Also, your Processor is below minimum for the game-that is the exact same processor I have on my desktop, and it is only 2.1GHZ(IV needs at least 2.4GHZ for AMD Processors). So, these are what are holding you back graphic wise....
