Buzzatuzza
Heyy all i was wondering if i could install mods to GTA SA, when i've bought the game with steam? im talking about mods like "missionpassers" and other mods, that i have to put some mods files into the GTA SA folder. I can use the "savegame editor" but that's only cause i don't need to put any mod files into the GTA SA installation folder (which i don't have, since i've installed it with steam) thanks in advance - Buzzatuzza
Silent
I'm afraid that Steam SA is unmoddable, even with downgrade patches. Well, maybe it isn't legal, but I'd suggest you to download a 1.0 version of the game (it won't be illegal if you owned a legal copy on Steam). It will save you from many problems with modding SA with versions other than 1.0 or 1.01.
Buzzatuzza
actually i have a 3.0 version xD.. but if i download the 1.0 version, will there be a folder with all the installation files so i can mod it that way? or will i not be able to mod files like that, cause it's installed with steam? Silent
Yeah, Steam has a special 3.0 version. You'd better download a 1.0 (from TORRENTS or something like this, see my previous post to see that is legal when you own a original copy) and you'll be able to mod it. But don't download it from Steam, or use 3.0 to play without mods, and downloaded 1.0 for modding.
