_Rob_
Hi, I've been trying various methods such as 3d printscreening through PSX emulators, and a whole host of tools, but with nothing other than a few textures able to be extracted. The files I'm trying to get into are from a pretty obscure game called "Muppet Monster Adventure". Each game level has 3 files, a BIN and INF and a WAD, the INF as far as I can tell, tells the game what it needs to load for each level ‡ CASTLE1.C00 ‘ 8 CASTLE1.C01 ¹ Ì CASTLE1.C02 ¼ H CASTLE1.VOF ½ €S DEMO.LVL ˆ d DEMO.LVR ‹ ð) TEST.SKY ‘ Dª ENEMIES.PAK Ç 4Ð MORPH.PAK L CAS1AMER.LDF L CAS1ENGL.LDF CAS1FREN.LDF \ CAS1GERM.LDF ô CAS1ITAL.LDF x CAS1SPAN.LDF ° CAE1.PAK œ €1 CAF1.PAK # ! CAG1.PAK ¨ 0 CAS1.PAK / CAI1.PAK ³ @ BATPICK.R16 @ BRIDPICK.R16 ƒ @ FRNKPICK.R16 ë @ SWMPPICK.R16 S @ WOLFPICK.R16 Wheras the BIN file I'm more stumped, there's a lot of unreadable text, but the text that is readable is Œ , Œ @ d È È d ú d TRIED TO START SMASHS WHEN SUB-GAME IN PROGRESS script\Smash.sub TRIED TO RESET SMASHS WHEN NO SUB-GAME RUNNING NEED TO SET SMASH COLLISION BEFORE CREATION FAILED TO CREATE A SMASH CANNOT FIND SMASH PLAYER RETURN MARKER < n È $ CAN'T FIND PAK FILE script/castle2.c MORE ENEMIES IN SCRIPT THAN PACK FILE MORE OBJECTS IN SCRIPT THAN PACK FILE INCORRECT NUMBER OF SMASH BITS MORE SMASH BITS THAN ALLOWED MORE DEADOBJ IN SCRIPT THAN PACK FILE MORE PLATFORMS IN SCRIPT THAN PACK FILE PLATFORM MUST HAVE NORMAL ANIMATION NO COLLISION TRIS IN PLATFORM NORMALS NOT CREATED PARENT OF CLONE NOT LOADED Beaker01 MakeMeshState in StartupLevel will cause incorrect reset! SetupSmashDoor in StartupLevel will cause incorrect reset! Which seems to be gameplay code to enable certain things. Reading through the above files I get the impression that the .WAD file is some sort of archive similar to a zip, rar or gta IMG. So that's the point I'm up to, I get the feeling this won't be easy but as I have literally no idea where to go next I'd love it if someone could point me in the right direction. I can also upload the .WAD file if anyone wants to take a looksee. Either that or someone has one of the 3D printscreen tools that works with a PSX emulator. Look forward to replies Edited May 18, 2011 by bammargera
