Spider-Vice
It only uses DirectX 9 graphic profiles, there's no way to make it run at DX 10, that'd require full rewriting of the game's shader engine (Though it would look damn better!). drkzwsky, ItsClonkAndre and pogo_01 2 1 GTANet | Red Dead Network | black lives matter | stop Asian hate | trans lives = human lives the beginning is moments ago, the end is moments away

WhistleBlower
I don't think GTA V is going to use DirectX11 either unless they turn the title into a PC exclusive. But we're not going to see that happen because Rockstar makes a lot of money from the console crowd. So, realistically-speaking, you're going to have to wait for the next generation of consoles. I'm also wondering how long it'd take to develop such a title. Seeing stuff like hardware tesselation and whatnot in an open-world title would be pretty mindblowing. omerjerk
Why don't the game creators make the game correctly in the first version .... ??
thejorens
Why don't the game creators make the game correctly in the first version .... ?? coz they don`t have any time, if they would make everything like it is now, for gta iv it would have taken them a longer time to finish, i mean they already missed the officialy announced release date and were rushed by eager fans that wanted the game sooner. That would be epic... sadly, daydreaming for probably another 5-6 years.
