GTAIV crashing when entering subway and/or tunnel

I've tried lowering settings, updating drivers, removing all mods and using safe mode. Nothing works it always freezes and terminates..

 

Tried searching for a solution and can't find one. I always feel like, somebodies watching me. Help.... suicidal.gif

 

OS Name: Microsoft Windows XP Professional - Service Pack 3 Build 2600

Total Physical Memory: 4,096.00 MB

Uhh, Quad Core PC...

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS

 

 

It's GTAIV not EFLC.

Try deleting all files from the Settings folder located here - C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\Rockstar Games\GTA IV\Settings

ANOTHER PERSON CANT PLAY GTAIV PC WOW. if you can get your money back every day on here 3 topics emerge with gtaiv pc issues fn sad rstar.

Actually, I can play it fine. It's just when entering the subway and any underground tunnel. I noticed it during the Three Leaf Clover mission.

playing it fine means 0 issues within the games boundaries. you have a car with no seat's/doors it runs but you cant use key features

That sucks. Did you patch it to 1.0.7.0? I had FPS issues before I did that

Alright, for future reference: I reinstalled the game and it works fantastic. No more crashes.
