WhistleBlower Posted June 20, 2011 Share Posted June 20, 2011 Well, I doubt it'll be called GTA: Vice City 2 because that would imply that it's a direct sequel to the GTA III era title. Especially when the whole point is to establish a new era. Most people who think there's no problem with that automatically assume that any newcomers have knowledge of the other times Vice City was used. GTA (V)ice or some other trendy title like that just sounds stupid. I mean, GTA IV wasn't called GTA: Liberty City 5 or whatever. No one is going to focus on the title so much unless they're trying to compensate for a bad product. Whose to say it won't be called GTA: Vice City? Tomb Raider 9 is simply called Tomb Raider. I also don't think it's good to say, if there will be a next GTA in vice city for example, that the game will be: 'Grand Theft Auto: IV Vice City', because then it looks like it's some DLC for GTA IV. If it's a remodeled city like VC of the IV era, I really don't know, but I'm going to guess something like Grand Theft Auto IV: Vice City. But next gen consoles change everything... Well, they did that for Lost and Damned, but they dropped the IV from Ballad of Gay Tony. So, I have a sneaking suspicion that they are gonna go a different route.
