I'm a liberal, so I believe marijuana should be legalized but only through a doctor prescription. Drug dealing should still be illegal for obvious reasons, but some of the same rules should apply (do not drive intoxicated, do not go to school/work intoxicated, etc). When I went to San Francisco, some of the cops didn't give a sh*t when they saw someone on the busy urban sidewalks smoking a blunt. And forget prostitution, I just watched COPS today and it took place in Nashville, all the prostitutes were hillybilly trash and in Los Angeles it was a bunch of people who didn't even know how to speak English. Anyways it should but there should be certain restrictions, like: You can't drive and smoke Marijuana. You cannot smoke Marijuana in public places. It has to have a tax. I'm not really feeling creative at the moment, so I just came up with those three. Any more ideas? @fireguy Prostitution? No way. The reason why is because there would be too much exploitation of women and stuff. Women would be kidnapped or a abused or sold (more frequently, but that's another matter to discuss). It would result in chaos and I just think it's a definite no in my opinion. I know that what you choose to do with your body is your business, but there are limits to it (I believe). Marijuana is known for opening the gate towards harder drugs, those are which you should definitely avoid. No, marijuana does not create any type of cancer (that I know of, at least that's what Warlord said once.) I'm 14, don't go thinking that I smoke it because I don't, nor I plan to smoke it or any other thing. I want to keep clean forever But I do accept other people's choices and I'm fine with it. In fact what I think should be illegal is Cigarettes. They're stupid, they make your teeth yellow, give you cancer, kill you, I just think it's god damn stupid to do something as useless as smoking a cigarette. Prostitution is currently the underhanded business that it is because it lacks federal regulation. If it is made legal these women will have access to regular health screening and protection (rather then exploitation) by police. Penn and Teller actually did a good episode on this during their first season of Bullsh*t! on Showtime. They featured a legal whore house in Nevada. All the girls were regularly tested and well paid. No pimps, no abuse. All of them wanted to be there. Hell I'd have sex for money too. Getting back to weed, much of the above applies to the drug trade as well. And I don't think weed will ever be legalized. It would most likely give people less reason to get certain prescription drugs at a higher cost. Pain killers? Nah, lets just go buy some weed.
