Anflug
Hello guys, I have three problems about model/ outfit/ skin! 1. Is it possible to replace Tommy's default skin/ model with in-game outfit? For example, I want Tommy always wear the golf club outfit although wasted, busted and during the mission cutscenes. 2. Is it possible to play as another character? For example, I want to play as Lance and Colonel Cortez, the same, no matter I am wasted, busted or during mission cutscene. I can play as Lance by using "LOOKLIKELANCE" cheat, but I want him to appear without using cheat. Colonel Cortez too. Colonel Cortez: That's all. I really want to play VC with other different models/ skins/ outfits. So hope there is someone who can help me! foxunitone
The FIRST THING you need to do is make a backup of your gta3.img file. Use image tool or spark and extract these files: player.dff player.txd This is your default skin. Next extract these files: player4.dff player4.txd These are the golf outfite files. Create two folders called whatever you want. For example 'tommy' for the default and 'golf' for the other. Put player DFF and TXD into 'tommy'. put player4 DFF and TXD into 'golf' Rename player.dff and player.txd to player4.dff and player4.txd Now go into 'tommy' and rename player4 so that it is player.dff and player.txd. Go back to IMG tool or spark and find the player and player4 files. Replace them one at a time with your newly renamed ones. After replacing the last file, be sure you select the option to 'rebuild archive'. Try playing your game. The default skin should now be switched. If this does not work, put the gta3.img that you backed up back into the folder. -Fox
