Sometimes I lose my memories that I studied. I can't listen to my teacher carefully. My mind is always on video games or GTAForums. Please tell me! What should I do? Hey! Basically, what you have to do is clear your head and focus on what you're studying. If your thoughts float while reading a paragraph, shake your head and go trough it again. Repeat the process until you've learned everything by heart. You can also try visualising the text, it makes studying so much easier. You could also try making a mental map. Y'know, study and remember, or note the most important stuff. You are an aperture through which the universe is looking at and exploring itself. Algonquin Assassin Posted May 15, 2011 Share Posted May 15, 2011 It's funny that I always used to get good scores on exams by "cramming" (In other words do a sh*tload of study the night before), or not doing any at all. I guess it differs from person to person. I'm undertaking tertiary study, and I find it easier to study for exams over a day, or so instead of doing it over a few days for a number of hours. If your mind is going to wander here and there, you'll never be able to concentrate. You need to practice better self-control. If you're devoting 3 hours per day to studying, make sure that you do just that. Take your studying to a room where there are no video games or a PC. That way, you'll be less tempted to think about anything other than studies. I know it's not as easy as it seems, but eventually, you'll get used to a routine and stick to it. One can't really teach you better self-control; that is something you'll have to figure out yourself. If I studied with him I was guaranteed 100% on any test. If I studied on my own, I was lucky to squeak by. Oh it works alright, when done properly of course. @OP, You'd be surprised how easy everything becomes if you just listen to the teacher. If you concentrate in school, you'll have more time to do everything else as all you'll have to do is to go through your textbooks/notes a couple times before exams to refresh your memory and you'll be good to go.
