rhyomguther
Hey guys, I found GTA-SA laying around in some corner of my attic and I thought I'd play it again. Sadly, after I installed it, I got this black screen then an error saying "Cannot find 800x600x32 video mode" I have OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit) Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 5570 Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1045T (2.70 GHz) RAM: 8 GB I'm using a 32' Flat Screen as my monitor with a 1920x1080 screen resolution Any solutions? lil weasel
You might want to check your documents folder to see if the old GTA_SA.set file still exists. If it does Delete it. and try again. Are you using W98 Mode with Administrative Privileges? You may need to patch the game with V1.01, too. Edited May 14, 2011 by lil weasel

Spider-Vice
Have you upgraded from a previous OS in-place? Try seeing if such file isn't in the data folder of the game, it's a bug that sometimes happens. Girish
What version is your game? If it's version 1, then the resolution that your desktop is at, is not supported by the game. You'll have to install the v1.01 patch to get higher resolutions.
