trip
I live in The City of Brotherly Love Edit: I feel bad for not including any history or tid bits like others have. Philadelphia - allot of history started here and we have a tendency to preserve it. The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution/Bill of Rights, The Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross and the first flag, the first capital of the US....sh*t goes on and on. We like our history. My house was built in the late 1800s and still has the original horse hitching post out back. We also like our food. I once read an article that said we are the only city that eats soft pretzels with mustard for breakfast - since sometimes that is my breakfast, it took a moment to set in that it may not be normal. I even love our negative history. We all do here - it's weird. trip
Home of the Steelers and Mr. Rogers and the begining of the American steel industry. Yeah, well we are the home of the beginning of the United States. That whole Declaration of Independence thing and such. Funny thing about Mr. Rogers - [back some time ago] his son used to sell weed to someone I know from that area. Go figure. It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood. Lemus 91
I city so sh*t i can't even find a decent picture on google. Anyways, i live in Green Bay, home of the Packers. Split into two areas; west and east side. The west is known for being rich and the east as the ghetto. I live in the east side but i know the whole city by heart, street by street. Can't wait till i go back home to Los Angeles though. GB is boring as sh*t, nearly forced to break laws just to have fun. I'd only suggest it to people on their retirement plan. gtaivpc
well how about some natural beauty... my city is Kalamata, Greece... famous for its weed and olives. to give you an impression of where it is, it's 70 kilometers from sparta. inbetween Sparta and Kalamata there's this 8000 ft tall snowcapped mountain (view from sparta) and one of the beaches 1 hour from my town (in my opinion maybe the best in the world) i will not be going into details of how great the nightlife is or how this is less than 1% of what my region has to offer, you simply have to visit us to appreciate the whole beauty of this place. Satourn
I bet you'll never find where my city is located, so I'll show you the location after the pics. I photographed it from my house window. *MURDOC*
This was literally the only thing that was cool about my town, and it was right across the street from my house, the Airplane Restaurant and Diner. I remember being a kid and watching Beavis and Butthead on the huge projection TV they had up in the plane. That place was awesome. Then they took it down. Robinski
Welcome to the Toon. (Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK) We have a bridge that kinda looks like that one in Sydney, only much better and smaller. Lots of old looking buildings in the city centre, which usually hide a shopping centre or big shop within their facade. We have a castle, the name had to come from somewhere right? There's also a very long thin park nearish the centre which is pretty ballin'. Then you get the university accommodation, which isn't so glamorous. Straznicy
Glasgow. Also known as 'Dear Green Place' for our many beautiful, hospitable parks. For our culturally enriched cityscape. And of course, for the tolerant, friendly and good-natured supporters of our two biggest exports.
