They were debunked a good two decades ago now, there are so many holes (fnar) in the story. Firstly, Kola is on the Russian/Norweigan border, rather than in Siberia as the "well to hell" stories indicate. Here's an interview with the many who "verified" the original story, indicating it was nothing more than a hoax. Where the f*ck do you think dead human spirits go after death...either to the Spiritual World (realm) or Hell. (Heaven I highly doubt unless your some priest or damn pope or some sh*t). Even people who believe in a literal Hell would probably think you're a bit weird for believing that somebody's actually found it on Earth. The modern belief isn't that Hell is literally underneath the ground and Heaven isn't actually in the sky, they are thought to exist outside of our reality. Wouldn't it kind of go against the point of Heaven/Hell if they were a worldly place that you could waltz into, and presumably out of, at your leisure? Y'know, seeing as they're meant to be the eternal resting places for the dead. I'd also take issue with your attitude to getting into Heaven. Most mainstream Christian sects seem to agree that even if you're a pretty bad person, if you're truly sorry and repentant, you'll get in. God's eternal love or some sh*t. The point's kind of moot for me though, I'm of the belief that you die and that's it. E: If you really want creepy unexplained (as in, without recreated evidence) sounds, try The Bloop. I can't imagine humans not having souls that go some place after death, it's to hard for my brain to wrap around that we just die and that's it. Ya' know.. with our consciousness and all that.. Are people who are kind still kind in the next life? If so, we'd never get to transcend our inadequacies, if not, then without any traits, what separates your soul from other souls? The sound itself is nothing more than some quirky static-like squeaks, but what you're hearing are emissions from massive lightning bolts taking place in the hydrogen clouds that encompass the entire planet. And anyway I can't prove souls aren't real, just as i cant prove unicorns aren't real, or god. All i can give you is evidence that goes against it.
