Dymez.
Sony appears set to attempt to soften the blow of the continued PlayStation Network down time with the announcement of long-rumoured PS3 exclusive sequel Starhawk. Over the weekend, Lightbox Interactive boss Dylan Jobe tweeted: "The wait is over next Friday..." That's the same day US TV show G4TV plans to reveal a "Sony surprise" in its May 13 show. You do the maths. Adding further fuel to the fire, the latest issue of OPM speculates in its rumour column that the PS3 exclusive flight-sim will feature "a story-driven campaign with full co-op support". The original game was released in 2007 both at retail and digitally via PSN. As one of Sony's most online-focused PS3 franchises to date, the firm could see the announcement as the next step in rebuilding the reputation of its online network, following confirmation that it will also give away free PS3 titles to make up for the down time. Chorup
Warhawk was a pretty solid game. Was always fun mucking around with a few mates on split-screen. It's good to see they are adding in a campaign, something the first game really lacked. Look forward to it.
Dnero
Here's a gameplay video if anyone hasn't seen it Skip to 4:15 for the Multiplayer part Right now, I don't really know what to say. By looking at the video, it's 'kind of' different than the first one, but it does look interesting.
