Stuff like that would be quite neat. Exactly, swat teams can do that, but I don't know how well the AI could handle it, even proper tactical shooting games can be broken. I stick by my opinion that giving the AI any form of explosive weaponary would be a bad and annoying Idea. it would be impossible to dodge a tank shell because we don't know when it would fire its not like misions where its all scripted. Plus some have said they want it back so they can get military vehicles, what about a base like area 69 in SA or a weapons dealer who imports Soviet era tanks? No, my point was with the military being better trained and having better a better arsenal they could use better tactics than civilian forces. Assault class that uses a bit of both smg tactics an sniper tactics and finally commandos. They should use all tactics as well as hand/flash/smoke grenades and heavy weapons. Not aliens blasting nukes at you level of over the top, but just enough over the topness. Don't tell me you didn't love that "OH, SH*T" feeling in SA when you pressed R2 and L2 to see 5 tanks, 2 helicopters and a billion police cars chasing you accross the countryside. Of course, this is all just opinions though. IMO the military was what was missing from IV, but it would be somewhat impractical in the busy streets of New Yor-sorry, Liberty City. You could transport your whole team inside one of those, drop of vehicles. Possibilities could be endless or sky diving out of a cargo plane commando style. I never mentioned anything about realism, Im one of the few who believe that gta is very unrealistic, just slightly toned down compared to SA, like just cause 4 is;nt COMPLETLY over the top its somehow realistic? I just don't get it. I got that oh sh*t feeling in 4 when I have been pinned down alleys and see a swat team has after flanking me or when my car breaks down lol. DO I miss the army in a way yes, but I personaly prefer being pursued by cop cars, just find car chases more fun, like I was'nt to keen on the police shooting at you from cars on 5 and 6 stars (My opinon). But each to their own. I just don't like how everyones excuse for something not being in 4 is oh they wanted to make it realistic, never is time, programming and practicallity taken into account. Did you even read the op or just see the title and jumpin? I mean, people choose how to play... whether they mess around, be gangster, be a cop or a soldier... adding military aspects to the game won't change much really, it'd just give the tactful players an opportunity to use the items and features given for efficient use and most importantly, fun .
