yoječ
You mean, you want to buy a new PC? If that's the case, the one you posted is just downright terrible. Q9550 has just awful price to performance ratio. Not to mention you won't be able to upgrade the CPU in future. You can get much better deal for the same price. € 182,90 Intel® Core™ i5-2500K (Boxed, FC-LGA4, "Sandy Bridge") http://www.alternate.nl/html/product/CPUs_...5-2500K/483770/? € 299,00 ASUS ENGTX570 DCII/2DIS (Retail, DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, SLI) http://www.alternate.nl/html/product/Grafi...&l3=GeForce+GTX € 107,90 ASRock P67 PRO3 (B3) (Retail, RAID, Gb-LAN, Sound, ATX) http://www.alternate.nl/html/product/Moede...O3_(B3)/533502/? € 34,99 Samsung HD502HJ (Bulk, SpinPoint F3) http://www.alternate.nl/html/product/Hardd...HD502HJ/357626/? € 66,90 Mushkin 8 GB DDR3-1333 Kit (Light-Retail, 996770, Silverline-Serie) http://www.alternate.nl/html/product/Geheu...R3&l3=DDR3-1600 € 69,90 XFX 650W XXX Edition (Retail, 4x PCIe, Kabel-Management) http://www.alternate.nl/html/product/Voedi...er+dan+600+Watt € 17,99 Samsung SH-S223C (Bulk, 12x DVD-RAM schrijven, Zwart) http://www.alternate.nl/html/product/DVD-r...s&l3=Serial-ATA € 69,90 Fractal Design Core 3000 (Retail) http://www.alternate.nl/html/product/Behui...n&l2=Midi+Tower € 89,90 Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit (SystemBuilder, Incl. Faster four core CPU with higher OC potencial, and also a faster graphics card with better cooling and more VRAM. I've also changed a PSU to a more powerful one and with modular cables (which is pretty handy), and also a better computer case. You might also get 4GBs of RAM (because 4GBs is more than sufficient), and get yourself a proper CPU cooling. http://www.alternate.nl/html/product/CPUs_...ng&l2=Processor
Exxon
What the . . ? I couldn't find any i5 nor i7 Sorry but, I don't like the case. Can you maybe post a case of the same quality in cooling but looks way nicer? I prefer the Sharkoon Scorpio 1000 I don't need the 2500K because I'm not going to overclock so I also don't need a new heatsink. As last, can't I use this GTX 570? I like the Windforce 3X more Thanks for the input guys!
yoječ
Well, by choosin i5-2400 instead of i5-2500k you'll save only €20. IMHO it's a better choice to get the 2500k - overclocking potential migt (and most probably will) come in handy in future. As for the Windforce, it seems to be overall a slightly worse cooling system than ASUS' DirectCu. But it should be fine anyway. CHeck out these cases: http://www.alternate.nl/html/product/Behui...n&l2=Midi+Tower http://www.alternate.nl/html/product/Behui...n&l2=Midi+Tower http://www.alternate.nl/html/product/Behui...n&l2=Midi+Tower http://www.alternate.nl/html/product/Behui...n&l2=Midi+Tower http://www.alternate.nl/html/product/Behui...n&l2=Midi+Tower
Exxon
Actually I was talking about i5-2500 That'll save me alteast €2 As for the cases, I'll take the Zalman Z9 Plus 'cause it's a gorgeous case By the way, when using 'PC-Builder' I can't choose Zalman Z9 Plus GIGABYTE GV-N570OC (I still go for the Windforce 3X ) http://www.alternate.nl/html/pcbuilder/pro...n=1&tn=BUILDERS Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit http://www.alternate.nl/html/pcbuilder/pro...&kind=pcbuilder Intel® Core™ i5-2500K http://www.alternate.nl/html/pcbuilder/pro...&kind=pcbuilder XFX 650W XXX Edition http://www.alternate.nl/html/pcbuilder/pro...&kind=pcbuilder Zalman Z9 (I couldn't choose the Plus ) http://www.alternate.nl/html/pcbuilder/pro...&kind=pcbuilder Samsung SH-S223C http://www.alternate.nl/html/pcbuilder/pro...&kind=pcbuilder Aerocool V12 BlueLine Edition http://www.alternate.nl/html/pcbuilder/pro...&kind=pcbuilder Aerocool V14 BlueLine Edition http://www.alternate.nl/html/pcbuilder/pro...&kind=pcbuilder ASRock P67 PRO3 (B3) http://www.alternate.nl/html/pcbuilder/pro...&kind=pcbuilder Samsung HD502HJ http://www.alternate.nl/html/pcbuilder/pro...&kind=pcbuilder Mushkin 8 GB DDR3-1333 Kit http://www.alternate.nl/html/pcbuilder/pro...&kind=pcbuilder =€ 929,75 This is what my next system should be? ------------------------------------------------------------------------- But, what could I get for my current system? I mean if I sell it? Edited May 18, 2011 by Exxon
yoječ
Wait, wait. First, I'd get XFX XXX power supply instead of XFX Core. It's a bit cheaper and you get modular cables Second, do NOT get the HD502HI HDD, because it's pretty slow. Go for the HD502HJ (funny how one leter makes a big difference ). Thrid - If you plan to install this fan on the top, I'd get a 140mm fan. Z9 allows such fan to be installed on top of the case.

I didn't see I picked the I, I thought it was the J. You mean it's slow because the I only has 5400 RPM right? Thrid - If you plan to install this fan on the top, I'd get a 140mm fan. Z9 allows such fan to be installed on top of the case. This fan is for in the front panel. I think I would get an extra 140mm fan for at the top, also with blue LED By the way, I also edited my previous comment of my 'next system'. Is it good now? And, what could I get for my current system (and the front is a bit damaged but still working good)? Edited May 18, 2011 by Exxon
yoječ
Yeah, HD502HI is only 5200rpm which makes it a worse choice for gaming rig. Z9 has already one fan on front. But if you want to have two front fans installed, then okay. As for what you could get for the old PC, it's hard to tell since prices may vary in different countires. You should check local auctioning site to find out how much are each of components worth.
Exxon
My apologies (I hope I spelled it good) for such a bump (my 2th bump I believe), but I just want to say that this problem is solved See this There are 2 cables connected to the GPU (making a total of 4 wires), see the right one? I was a bit stuck beneath that edge of the case, I removed and placed the wires and the sound is gone By the way, I also cleaned the fans a bit, damn those get dirty real fast man! I gues this topic will get locked now eh? What the ?? Edited July 4, 2011 by Exxon
