on win7/vista press start, then in the "search" bar put "services.msc" then look after X3Watch, turn it off, completely off...chances are when your mum tries to open the log an error will occur..i don't know for sure, or chances are there is no service to be found from X3Watch..that'd suck

My dad was very strict about it when I was younger "you do it my way or get out" If I couldn't afford my own place than I had no choice but to follow the rules.

it was their choice to bring you to the world, and it's their duty (read: they HAVE to do it) to raise you. there's no point in following rules that are based on false perceptions. I'd say that you're grown up when you're 18. only then can they put absurd rules and ask you to follow them using the excuse that you're an adult and you have to pay blablabla. but with the current economic situation it's very hard for anyone to find a job, not to mention someone who just turned 18, so I'll assume they didn't really care for your well-being, or they were such stuck-ups that I'd rather be homeless and a beggar than live in the same house with them.

Like you said, this guy's practically an adult, and as such should have the respect to follow the wishes of the person providing him with a home. Having beliefs and establishing them in your own home doesn't make you a fascist.

I've never really had issues with this, so I can't relate. I was always allowed to watch whatever I wanted/go on whatever sites. I'm sure my mother wouldn't have wanted me looking at porn, but what she doesn't know can't hurt her.

Like I said, tell your mother that she's only preventing you to grow up. I remember before my best friend turned into my enemy, his mom added a program where it would block literally everything inappropriate. If you come across a picture that's a picture of a gun, it would be blocked. Even typing it on Google Images would show up the password request, and it would happen every 2 minutes because everything on the internet contains all sorts of sex and violence.

 

It doesn't matter if it's porn, she's still trying to make you stay like a little kid. I don't want to say anything that would offend you or your mom, but the other guy who said something along these lines "if she's paying the bills, she makes the rules" IT DOESN'T MATTER ABOUT THAT. The point is that she needs to let you grow up, here in Texas since you're 17 you would already be considered an adult.
