[citation needed] There's no concrete plan about what's going to happen with the MP Gangs and the current official groups. The gang has to be respected on the forums and more people to admit that a gang should be official. Well, as far as I know, might be wrong though. An official gang member could give you better information about this. The only difference between an official gang and an unofficial gang is that they've got a private forum and are in a different member group. I'm not sure that it's completely necessary to promote more gangs to official status, because they are completely different to the current OGA gangs anyway. Most unofficial gangs have their own identity and private forums anyway so I personally don't see why this network would need to support them. I'm not saying that I wouldn't want more officials, I'm just saying that most of the MP gangs don't need their official status because they are pretty recognisable anyway. ska Posted May 13, 2011 Share Posted May 13, 2011 To be honest, why would you guys consider getting rid of official gangs come V2? They're a pretty recognizable part of the forum, in my opinion. Getting rid of them would probably just cause a ton of respected members to leave, considering there appears to be quite a few who don't post outside of the gang forums. That, and they've been around since the very beginning of GTAForums, they're almost if integral part of the community here. On-topic though. I really only think that MP gangs that have actually earned a good status should earn a spot as an official gang. I know there are at least a couple of MP gangs around here that could definitely have a shot as an official, it's really just a matter of if official gangs are still going to be around in the future. You are perfectly fine right now as a multiplayer gang with social elements. It could be argued that the OGA are first and foremost social groups and some of them play multiplayer as well. @-ska: Nothing has been finalised from what I have heard.
