WhistleBlower
I was thinking that maybe we could see the writing put to good use again in a way that you feel like the world that the player inhabits is much larger than it looks. Let's use the radio as an example. Instead of a bunch of DJs simply playing songs for their station audiences, you can also have some of them talk about the other DJs or even other locations in the series. One of the DJs could even comment on the latest news and later be replaced halfway through the game by someone else in the radio as he/she gives out a string of missions at some point in the game. And it doesn't have to be restricted to the radio. Maybe someone on a television show (provided they're actually entertaining this time around) ends up being a stranger you meet on the streets or deep in the countryside? What do you think? Raptomex
Lazlow talks about himself. In one of the games he talks about being a rock DJ in the 80s (obviously V-Rock: Vice City). And I believe Tommy "The Nightmare" Smith on K-DST talks about the chick on Radio X. So it's possible they could do this and things similar. The Truth talks about Jethro and Dwayne having there business taken over by the mob in the 80s (Tommy Vercetti). These aren't exact quotes but I know they're something like that. There was a female DJ that made a reference to Carcer City in GTA III. I thought that was pretty cool because it made Liberty City feel like it was part of something much larger. In general, though, I think the interactivity should be much deeper. Edited May 7, 2011 by WhistleBlower
Raptomex
In San Andreas, Ken Rosenburg mentions Tommy. Tommy Vercetti comes from Liberty Citty, as does the Forelli mob. I know Carl mentions doing work with Joey back in his days in Liberty City.
