ICdevil
Hi, i was wondering if anyone released or thought of making carmageddon cars to gta 4? i looked all over the net and i couldnt find even one. I cant believe people have never thought of this before.. i mean we got realistic physics and damage, a beautiful graphics environment, and the engine is moddable, this game just asks to be converted into a whole new carmageddon game, am i the only one with this thought? RisingRedWolf
Personally, I think it's an awesome idea. Carmageddon is a perfect fit for GTA IV. If we can find someone who can convert a few popular Carmageddon maps and cars, and possibly enable a heavy amount of pedestrians everywhere, we could have ourselves a nice little Carmageddon mod. Unfortunately though, most of the modders here probably haven't played a Carmageddon game before or don't know what it is, and I definitely won't be able to do it because I have no modding skills at all. If there is anyone out there interested in making a small car combat game from GTA IV, I urge you to try this one out.
Apex_Skins
BUMP I think I can do the car conversions from Carma2 I've actually had plans to drag some of my Carmageddon creations into IV, anyone else up for this mod? My C2 mod website. It's old, and hasn't been updated in ages, so if there's some links missing pay no mind to them http://twiztid-productions.hostoi.com/ Two of my concept vehicles rendered in 3ds max http://img834.imageshack.us/img834/5018/apocmustang.jpg
Apex_Skins
I know double posting is frowned apon, but I'm not sure if the "new post" Icon will appear when editing the original post. Anywho, I was thinking about actually making a Carmageddon mod, and had a few vehicles laying around. so I UV mapped one of them and tossed it ingame. Wheels are just a template, so pay no mind to them. The Highquality C2 models fit right in with IV's original cars poly wise, back in the day I've got cars in C2 that had around 30,000 polys. So if anyone is interested in joining in with this Carma mod, I'd be happy to help out with the basics in setting up a IV vehicle, I can even show the basics to UV mapping. XTREME0235
First of all there is no need for the OP to double post with "Bump" after a day without any response, it is classed as spam and is unnecessary, don't do it. Simple. Same goes for Apex Skins. Do not reply with Bump when you are replying, there is no need for you to do it in general unless the topic is at least a month+ old and hasn't received any replies since. Double posting is frowned upon, so don't do it.
Apex_Skins
XTREME0235: Please keep on topic, I apologized for the double post. So, obviously there's absolutely no need to tell me there's no need to double post. I also looked at the Modding rules, no where in the rules does it say not to reply with a post with "bump" It also doesn't say anything about "there is no need for you to do it in general unless the topic is at least a month+ old and hasn't received any replies since" So if you don't have anything useful to post, don't post at all.
