El Zilcho
I've got two problems here and I was wondering if anyone of you know the answers to them. When on youtube, the buffering bar at the bottom usually loads up. But after Firefox 4 updated it's changed for the worse - there is no indication of how much the video has buffered, as if it hasn't loaded at all. Vids still play but I don't like how it is. If there is no way to fix it, then I'd like to go back to Firefox 3.whatever. That's my second question. Howe can you go back to an older version of Firefox? Thanks. Suction Testicle Man
I'm fairly sure the flash plugin is independent of Firefox, unless you're using the HTML5 version. It could well be a bug with your flash player, or with YouTube's implementation instead. You could try reinstalling the flash plugin? If at first you don't succeed, you fail, and the test will be terminated.
Wolf68k
To go back to older versions of anything, just uninstall it and reinstall the older version. The problem you might run into here though is that the settings file and maybe many other files in your Profile folder will not work in FF3 after using FF4. So backup your bookmarks, write down which extensions you're using. Then copy (or rename) the FF4 profile folder, just in case and as back up. Uninstall 4. Install 3. See what happens, if it takes the FF4 stuff then you're ok if not then you have the back up. Unless you renamed the folder in which case FF3 will create a new fresh one. El Zilcho
Here is someone with a very similar problem to mine. The part about videos playing after related videos comes up also applies to me, as well as the loading bar problems. Anyone else here had this problem too? @Suction Testicle Man - how would I do that anyway? @Wolf - I think I've changed my mind on uninstalling 4. I want to try and fix the problem, but not revert back to 3.6. U R B A N I T A S
Wolf68k
How do you reinstall the flash plugin? Just go to Adobe's Flash Player page and reinstall it. You could first go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall it first and then reinstall as well.
