Graphics tuning

hey guys wasn't really sure where i should post this or what not but its about graphics and if i shouldn't post this here could u guys give me a referral to a site that will help me out with my problem i got alot of them lol.

 

so heres my question im running a amd 965 black at 4ghz and i'm pretty dam sure its stable ran a few testers such as prime 95 and cpu burn in.

i have 8gbs of 1066 memory its very little over-clocked just cause it got bumped up a bit cause of my cpu over clock running at the exactly correct voltage and what not.

i have a nvida 275gtx with 896 memory stock clocks cause i'm not really to sure of what program i should use to over clock that with? if u could point me to one that it would help.(not my big question)

its on a gigabyte ga ma 790 gp-ud4h mobo and a 1000 watt power supply in a half case with plenty of air.

 

OK here my favorite game is GRAN THEFT AUTO 4 and been playing the sh*t out of it lately. and i'm trying to get the BEST graphics set up for it i want to run everything at max but i know that ant happening i'm currently running 1900x1200 res and trying to get the max out of all the graphics but its not working still getting some bad chop. so could u guys help me out by giving me the perfect set up for my system as u see it? and tell me if i should just turn off the AA to help it run the other graphic parts better?

 

 

so the main question is with all that information can you guys help me set my game up so it looks beautiful like it should cause i used to have it for the PlayStation 3 but i love my computer to much and had to move over to it. also i know i can run the game better than the ps3 and i can mod the game a huge plus. so if u guys know please point me out on how to set up each setting part.

was catching up on posts I've missed and came across this one, I can't believe you've gotten no responses til I dare to make one. I may have a solution, I may not. You forgot to mention what operating system you are using, though I'll assume you have windows 7 ( I'm still using Vista, though I bought windows 7 to upgrade but I'm afraid of losing 100's of movies when I do so) You have a system I droool over. faster cpu, faster gpu, (same memory basically, 8 gb of ram) I run GTA IV on a quad core processor (2.54 ghz per core) my gpu is Nvidia gt 240 with 1 gb ram (recently changed from the 9500 GS with 512 ram) the gt 240 came with overclocking software on the driver installation disk, but I just never overclock anything (risk of overheating.) Your power supply is phenomenal! mine is only 650 watts. I run all my hardware at factory settings, only change in-game display settings as needed. This is my recommendation to you. I NEVER get choppy fps, or lag, I'd reset your hardware to factory settings, re-install the game, and stop trying to tweak an already MORE than adaquate system. you may be amazed at the results ( imho)

 

I'm not a computer techie, just one of those guys everyone knows who can (usually) fix your computer if something goes wrong.

I really think this is the best advice and probably why no-one else has bothered to answer your question.

You do know you can edit your post and remove the hudge space, then again I can't see y the Mods on these forums haven't adjusted it.
