UserCommenter
So I'm starting to replay the 3 era on my ps3 and I was looking around the internet for all the information, but couldn't find anything. I have all the original first releases of the GTAs. My SA still has the hot coffee and my VC still has tear gas and 3 still has whatever it has that could be different. I was just wondering if it would be worth it to go and get the trilogy for the newer versions of the game. Would GTA3 actually have different settings to make it better or possibly the game has updated graphics/runs smoother? Took me a few hours to get through GTA3 because it was just a pain in the arse with its crappy controls and settings. I never recall it not being able to turn invert look off. lol Anyways thanks if someone knows!
Raptomex
You're playing the GTA 3 era games on your PS3? Do you have a PS3 that's backwards compatible with PS2 games?
UserCommenter
Indeed. Launch 60gb is the only ps3 to go for. If you don't have that model then I feel sorry for you. ;D It does enhance the PS2 games. Makes the models smoother and loads everything much more quickly. Having resolution set too 1080p and using fullscreen mode. Then going to settings in the actual game and turning on widescreen makes the game easier to see on console. I'll wait for an adapter to play PS2 games on PS3. I heard rumors it might be coming. I have a 360 and Wii for other games I really want. I did purchase some PS3 games I was interested in, though. Anyway, I, myself, have the original SA and VC. Had I known about the hot coffee stuff I would've gotten two copies at the time. Kept one unopened. I don't think the trilogy makes a real difference. Not sure. I don't have it. But I want it.
