Well, the variables are the same, just need to be altered in a different way.

 

SUSPENSION:

Soft suspension will improve drifting smoothness. Hard suspension can be good for tighter corners or other ends, but it can get a little difficult to handle.

 

TRACTION:

These values are very important. A low value on the multiplier will decrease grip, so, for smoothness decrease it. As for the traction loss, you can put it equal as the multiplier, or a higher number. I recommend a higher number, so you won't be doing an endless burnout before going. As for the the Traction Bias, a lower value will the the car more stable, the tail will be centered more easily. For long drifts, I recommend not putting it too low, but low enough for you to control it.

 

CENTER OF MASS:

Backwards. Shift it backwards, but don't abuse. You can try to lower the Z coodinate to lower the COM.

 

TURN MASS:

The is the mass your car will have when turning, and considering the center of mass you've adopted, you have to balance this on your own. Higher value will make the tail go to the outside of the turn (considering you put it backwards). You get the idea? wink.gif

 

WEIGHT:

1100-1400. Almost all Formula D and D1GP have weights like this. Lighter cars RULE!

 

TORQUE & ACCELERATION:

Depends on what you're looking for. But when raising torque, don't forget to raise acceleration too. And I allways set the Drag Multiplier to 1.0, but that's up to you.

and do you have any good handling flags for drift? or any program to easy edit flags?

This is my first post, so id like to say hello to the GTA FORUMS!!

Im a 19years old German student and play mainly San Andreas (since 2004)

I have some experience with modding, but not scripting.

 

my question, or rather request is about the handling files from the Hunter, or helis in general.

I would like the Hunter to behave like the Viper Attack Helicopter from Battlefield 3, or at least be similar

is there anyone who did that?

If not, could someone help me with that a little??

of course, I will read tutorials and stuff, so i dont ask someone to do the work for me...

If its not possible, ok..

But I just wante to get rid of the yoyo-ish behavior of the yawcontrol for the helicopter and planes in general, or at least change it..

this is the most importand thing to me, the rest is actually fine...

Hello there I really need this handling line as soon as possible please its for gta san andreas and this car mod http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?d...at=140&id=43661 please make the handling line for a racing car and make it realistic. this mod is for infernus and infernus goes 240kmh can you make this go 300kmh without any damages and make it work real good properly no cartoon things make it realistic please smile.gif thank you if you cant make 300kmh make it 290 or 280 thanks

Lowered the chassis a bit, raised the weight and cut turn mass reduced almost to half so it won't feel that heavy when turning, but it won't drift that wide anymore.

Suspension is easy to change, but a bit tricky to get what you want. First, start with the room you give to you springs and dampers, if you give lots of room for it, it'll be bouncing, and when turning you might roll over, but if you give it a tiny space to compress, it will be almost without suspension at all lol. "Lower limit" value is the distance from the ground, and upper limit is the maximum height you tires will reach when the suspension compresses. My advice: start with the lower limit, adjust the desired height of your car. When this is done, start messing with Upper limit: raise it to make it softer, lower it to make it harder.

 

Damper and Force level are also important. For example, if you have soft dampers and hard springs, your car will literally jump! You get the idea wink.gif

I don't play GTA IV at the moment, so I won't konw how it behaves. But I already checked the handling lines for GTA IV, and there's more variables, so it will be quite hard to make it behave like that in GTA SA, since SA has less variables (more variables = more accurate) confused.gif

Hi edward , i'm from malaysia and i would like to request a real handling line for Nissan Skyline GT-R34 , i will really appreciate that if you could make this possible

 

0-60 - 4.3secs , and the top speed will be around 320km which is 200mph if not mistaken confused.gif , time for achieving max speed are around 30 secs , and it will be a line for RWD as we can modify GTR to RWD in real life too smile.gif . and i'm preferring some drifting handling for Akina or any hairpin corner . with ABS too biggrin.gif

Hello handling writers,

 

Is there a way to make a "Heavy Car" handling line? In other words, it's a car that weighs ALOT and can smash through traffic without even flinching. I know to bump up the vehicle mass, but when I do that, the car turns into an uncontrollable glitchy mess that bounces everywhere and occasionally glitches under the map or flies incredibly high into the air, even going beyond the game's ceiling. Is there a way for me (or you guys) to create a handling line that allows any vehicle to shove aside any vehicle including the Rhino and not be phased?

 

Anyway here's the preferred car stats I was going for:

Vehicle: Linerunner (can be any vehicle, but preferably the Linerunner)

Top Speed: 350KM/H (around 200MPH)

Acceleration: Fast (I'm not sure what you set it to for quick acceleration)

Weight: 60000 (even heavier than the AT-400 jumbo jet)

Handling: Responsive (like a Blista Compact)

Drivetrain: 4WD (not sure why semi trucks are listed as having RWD)

 

I'd greatly appreciate this. Thanks in advance!

Is it possible to increase the speed of the Brown Streak train?

You know, there are quite a few mods of high speed replacements for the brown streak but no handling lines have been supplied with them so the speed remains the same, which kinda sucks.

It has been a while since I started "studying" the meanings of every single number on an Handling line in GTA SA. And I'm asking you, car modders, to ask me to make handling lines for your vehicles  colgate.gif !! 

(Specially those who publish cars without handling lines and wheel sizes... MAN That's annoying... No ofense confused.gif )

 

Yeah, it sounds a little ... weird ... but I really want to know how good I am at it...

HI again... Basically, face this topic has a "Handling Request Topic"

 

You want...

 

-> Realistic Handling: Real "0-60" timing, real top speed, real "0-Max Speed" timing, etc... Just need to go to wikipedia or something like that

-> Drift Handling: RWD or 4WD, quick turn drifting, long wide drifiting, etc...

-> Dragster Handling: I made one once, but I gotta say, these are the hardest (at least for me). Only made one until now :-S

-> Funny Handling: Reaching 300 km/h in something like 2 sec? Just use your imagination lol

What lines in handling.cfg contains data about vehicle's handling, turning etc.? I know about "(g) suspension anti-dive multiplier" - is there something else to decrease turning and jumping after i hit a car and other obstacles?

Hmm. I am trying to make the beagle amphibious, but so far no luck. I have modified the submerge numbers, but the plane's engine still dies. Does anybody know where I would go to make it a sea-plane?

Hey dude, I could really use 2 lines, one for a Bugatti Veyron Vitesse, and one for a Keonigsegg Agera R

 

What I want is a "Track line" Or a Racing line if you will, it should be fast, but not drag race fast, I shld be able to control it and take it around corners, but not a slow one.. and I don't want any drifting. Thx mate
