GIMS can you please stop messing up the material editor I can't add bump maps nor can I add specs now confused.gif everytime I update something else gets broke. FIX THIS ISSUE. I try to add a texture and the box remains empty the old material editor doesn't work at all and now your new one isn't working. mad.gif

I've fixed the export smile.gif

and broke the material editor more I can't add bump maps or specs in GIMS material editor and the old one doesn't work.

You may fixed the view on OpenIV for models but in game can not see models that are mapped only things that work is the Collision in game.Please restore GIMS fix every bug.

I can't see that error...can you send the files you're trying to import?

^ He's right what ever you did after the 2 updates messed all the bump maps up again it's doing what it was before you fixed it. URGH! sneaky2.gif

Bump mapping hasn't worked right(f***ing up all smoothing) and I've turned it off. Wiill be back later.

I think, I've fixed tangents...smooth's OK, but someone has to test bump mapping.

It does seem to work when I tried it on my MP40 mod.

I used that picture with bump maps as diffused to give you a idea of what it supposed to look like in game and also those have been the settings I've been using with all my previous mods with bump maps that worked.

As you see there are no bump maps and the specs are jacked up and you can't see those hexagons on the model like in this shot

Also I can't envelop models now either after last update.

I don't know but after that last update you made I can't and bumps not working and also specs are to high just saying. That picture with working bump maps was before all these updates that made everything stop. As you see I didn't have that problem with smoothing.

 

 

here's the video also and look at the date I added it everything was working fine until after this date when all the updates started messing up things. Edited by wapeddell

3doomer, what are your thoughts on rolling back to the last version that used the old material format? afaik it worked better in every way than the new version: If there are improvements then just say so. smile.gif

Actually, could you put a temporary version of the old style up online so people could use that while you're fixing the latest version. icon14.gif (if it is fixable)

As long as bump maps work I don't give a rats ass which version I use I just want it to work.
