But then how would they continue the free roam if Ezio dies? Maybe you control his spirit or some crazy sh*t like that, wouldn't put it past ubisoft to pull something like that with the crazy stuff we've seen already.

Animus is used to view memories, not a past life. so it's possible for Desmond to go back some memories of Ezio before his death

He can't do that. He can only see Ezio's memories until Ezio has a child. From then he can only relieve memories of Ezio's child, presumable his son. Think about it.

Ezio never had a son, it was his sister Claudia who continued the blood line so we could keep playing as Ezio.

Or, at least thats what I heard or believe. I'm not sure, how old is his sister anyway? Or could she have had one already, off screen maybe?

Thats how you'd get free-roam to continue I guess, but come to think of it, we probably won't play until Ezio dies. I kind of want to, because then you'd play through his entire life from when he was born to when he dies, and I think that could be very cool I beleive.

Claudia's DNA doesn't possess Ezio's memories. And Desmond is reliving Ezio's memories. Which means Ezio had a child. His child had Ezio's DNA with Ezio's memories. Which means Desmond can only relive memories of Ezio before Ezio had a child. Which means Desmond can't see Ezio die in the Animus. His DNA doesn't possess that information. It's impossible. Please, use your brain. It's not quantum mechanics. It's basic logic.

Not necessarily. Desmond can't see Ezio's death, through the eyes of Ezio, if you get my meaning.

Anyway, just beat Brotherhood again. I wonder if the people who find Desmond, and who are heard talking during the credits are Assassins or Templar/Abstergo.. Guess I'll just have to wait Three months. I might have to start from the beginning once more in the mean time.

I want to know when it is that Altair and Ezio's bloodlines end up crossing, as Ubisoft have said they aren't related.

Most badass person in the middle ages - Ezio Auditore Da Ferezi

Except the Renaissance isn't the Middle Ages, but that's a minor detail.

Paps, have a link for that? It was my understanding that Desmond is able to tap into his ancestral memories only through direct bloodlines, however far of a time gap they are. Unless of course Desmond is in fact the tie between both Altair and Ezio's bloodlines, which would be interesting.

I'll find it when I get home. Think it was a quote with a link on Twitter, though.

I'm looking forward to the home-made bombs in this game. Should be fun going round bombing a few enemy soldiers now and again.

You know you can make your own smoke bombs with pretty much household items: potassium nitrate, some sugar and baking soda, duct-tape, a cardboard tube or a toilet paper roll, firework fuse, a few cotton balls and a saucepan.

It was kind of obvious that they were going to make a sequel from Assassins Creed: Brotherhood - it did end on a cliffhanger. I'm just waiting for November to come by, along with a few other releases which are getting crowds itching to buy, Revelations looks like it's going to be a big-seller and a succesful game like it's prequels were, I'm just hoping they keep the Assassins Creed collection as good as it is now, and don't go over the top or don't do enough. I'm going to go to the local Gamestation and pre-order Revelations along with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 as soon as possible, because I'm thinking to myself that they're going to be pre-ordered faster than other games such as Red Dead Redemption were.

Firefly8000

For everyone saying Ezio will die/not have children:

Embers takes place AFTER Revelations, showing the closure to Ezio's chapter.

Apparently Ezio is now living in Florence with his wife and children. (Flavia and Marcello)

He fears he is running out of time but not only that, he fears he is being hunted.

@papanesta,

I read somewhere that while Desmond is in a coma, he has to repair his splintered subconsciousness piece by piece from within the Animus in order to wake himself from his coma, ultimately having to find a specific memory that linked himself, Altaïr and Ezio together to accomplish this. Maybe that has something to do with Ezio and Altaïr being un-related.

G The Generous

I bet that Ezio and Altair being unrelated because it's a retcon from the new story writter (it's the dude wrote story for ACB which made Ezio running around doing sh*tty thing for 95% in each sequences than doing assassination suicidal.gif)

with this retcon Ubi will have more chances to get more money from this unrelated story. which made no damn reason since Desmond,Altair,Ezio are have similar facial and scar. and then could be the reason why Ezio's face changed in ACR. and could be the reason why Patrick left and worked for THQ suicidal.gif . Goddamn Ubi about their milking job.

imo there are just the first sequence, final sequence and Da Vinci's disappearance DLC are the sequences that is awesome in game, the rest are really boring and worthless (what kind of worthless thing that I've spend 1-2 hours for about 5 sequences that Ezio spend his time to tracking target, kill some thug and talking with his allied?since I could do a lot of awesome thing in each sequences in AC2 which took me a lot of time ?)

well, I hope they know what they're doing since there are a lot of changes from this ACR.

Ezio and Altair have to be related. Even Mario said they are related in AC2 if I remember correctly.

The flamethrower we've seen in gameplay would suggest otherwise.

What I don't like about the Assassins Creed series is that you have to have Internet so you can on PC.

True, but what if you want to play online?

But still you are still right, I have only played the multiplayer 3 times.

AC:B multiplayer was fantastic. It got the adrenalin going every time, but that was only when you could get a game. Sitting there for half an hour lisening to "Waiting for Abstergo agents" wasn't fun and happened too often.

I don't know whether it was server issues, or the popularity of the game. when I was playing AC:B online it was still top ten in the charts. I just hope they sort this out.

Were you playing on PC? Then I could understand why it wasn't so popular.

I was playing online about a month or two ago on XBL, and I rarely had problems getting a game. Only usually late at night.

But yeah, no game has gotten my heart pumping like Brotherhood's multiplayer. I remember at first I would just freeze up. I wouldn't know what to do I was so paranoid about this NPC or that guy. And then I gradually figured out the tricks, like finding a character that looks like yours and using the disguise, or sitting on a bench next to them. Then I went from prey to hunter.

I played it on the PS3 and it's the same. MP is quite solid i must add, sometimes a bit confusing, but most of the times they got it right. The only annoying thing is the wait. confused.gif

Let's hope ACR fixes that even though i ain't gonna play MP as much as it's SP.

This, seriously this.

I think that at least, I spent 15 hours playing single player and buying revenues and so on.
