Freezer89
I assume Revelations will be the end of Desmond, Ezio and or Alltair? Any info on that? Nope, looks like Assassins Creed is Ubisoft's new cash cow. A sequal to AC: R has been anounced. It will tie up the loose ends regarding Desmond, there will be no gameplay where you control Ezio or Altair. It involves the the whole '2012 End of The World' thing AAAAAARRRGGGGH! Everybody knows that is an illogical argument with no genuine proof backing it. F*ck Ubisoft! Why? It was determined as a trilogy from the beginning, and by trilogy i mean the story about desmond (brotherhood and revelations aren't included.. they are the extended parts of ezio's story) Of course there will be an Assassins Creed 3.. i am looking forward to it, but first Revelations has to match the exceptations. And if they will delay the pc version by 2 weeks and not months, its okay.
Narcis_speed6
"Probably". You're accusing them even if they haven't done anything. They delayed every Assassin's Creed game for PC so far. And they continue to delay other PC titles. Why would I even assume that they won't do the same for AC3? This is not cynicism. I'd rather have a 'complete' game instead of a bugged one, we can play allot of other good titles until this one comes out.

Creed Bratton
Ahahahaha. That was awesome. I like the stalker feature a lot. It will add a lot of fun and suspense into the game. At least that's the idea. We'll see. Young Cesare I heard him say could not be killed by man So I tossed him through the air to see where he might land. AndyGanteks
Here's something interesting Desmond's ancestry explained At 2:51 of those vid, it shows a few more lines pointing out to desmond and not just ezio and altair. I'm pretty sure this is a sign of a lot more AC games in future, which is good. They just need to find a way to milk the story of the present times to keep making it. edit: Ahahaha that song at the end. AC 2 has been patched, so it doesnt need permament internet connection anymore. And Brotherhood doesnt have it from start (i think). Same with Revelations. Oh God, I see the 50%/100% synch thing is the same as it was in Brotherhood. Full synchronization was never that hard, bar a few, but I hated that they forced you to play in a certain way. Hopefully only 20G suggests it might be less taxing this time.

On some, 100% synch will never be gotten with me, simply for the challenge that it poses, such as the mission where you have to close all 3 gates on the base, and can't lose a single block of health...yet you are instantly surrounded by the enemy, and can't avoid an attack when you are closing the gate. And others I hated for simply giving you a time limit for the mission. I know that they were only put there for an extra challenge, but seeing 50% synch on most of the missions is off-putting. Ash_735
Some of those achievements look fun as hell, especially "Mosh Pit" and "Monsters Dance", finally, getting a reward for using the ever so fun Poisons!
LittleBlueTroll
Seems like a well balanced list, not to many online achievements which i like! The "My Protégé" Achievement is worth 20G for training 1 assassin to the rank of master. And "The Mentor" Achievement is worth 20G for training 7 assassins to the rank of master Thought you might get a few more points for doing 6 more! But oh well, no big deal. So,is there gonna be a part of AC3 we play in history, for example in French revolution,or we play entire game as a Desmond in present time? How would that look,i mean i love walking around old Jerusalem and Rome,it is just not the same with modern setting. tuareg
Historical setting has been the trademark of the series since day 1. Setting the entire game in modern times would be like using a car without wheels. Doubt Ubisoft wants to go down that road.

They tried something new with Convictions and failed, but as far as staying true to the series they weren't off the mark that much. Sure it was sh*t compared to earlier titles, but stealth was the trademark of Splinter Cell much like historical setting is to AC and they managed to replicate that in Convictions. Albeit not the same way as in earlier titles, but they didn't ditch the main formula. I heavily doubt they'd do that in AC3.

Dude... Call an arrow storm and counter any attackers that are left, and close each gate in between respawns. It's easy because there's no heavy f*ckers or pikemen to just waltz past your counter and punch you in the dick. It took me one try to get that synch man!! Anyway, that achievement list is looking like it'll be fun getting this time around, and.. wait, what's this.. NO FLAGS?

It's easy because there's no heavy f*ckers or pikemen to just waltz past your counter and punch you in the dick. It took me one try to get that synch man!! I think I had sent all my assassins on missions, leaving me to fend the base on my own, not including the NPC's who just stand there and pretend to be actually doing something. I found myself instantly swarmed by the enemy, and any attempt at running away led to me being pushed over and surrounded again. I was kind of just making the point that this whole 100 synch thing was rather off-putting, and sometimes took away the whole free-roam aspect of the missions. The same annoyance was there for me in TBoGT, in which we were given multiple targets for 100%, taking away some of the freedom of doing the missions in the way that you want to do them. Also, hope they f*cking sort out the tailing an enemy and getting that 25 second countdown appear on screen. Many missions have been failed by me simply not being able to get the camera onto the target, yet been stood only meters away from them. Make it a distance thing, rather than a camera thing. It really does seem like they're learning, which is why I'm so excited for this and the full sequel in 2012. Still not sure about the new base defense sequences, though. My order is processing, got butterflies at that.
Tyler
I was pretty sceptical at first, but once I finally grabbed AC Brotherhood and played it, I'm pretty excited for it. The whole "lol cashcow" thing might be true, but the game is still very playable, and there's a huge difference between Brotherhood and 2, gameplay wise. My only grievance with this series is that it likes to leave bigger cliffhangers than True Blood.
Creed Bratton
True Blood is your comparison? Seriously? Personally, I would have gone with LOST.
Proud Fool
I agree with Butters about the distance vs PoV thing, even if the target happens to walk in front of a pillar for 2 seconds you're thrown a timer in your face.
Tyler
Why isn't both fine? The timer is pretty lengthy, is it really a lasting problem in any tail missions? True Blood is your comparison? Seriously? Personally, I would have gone with LOST. Unfortunately I've not seen LOST (been meaning to at some point) but I know that True Blood has had plenty of annoying *cough* season finales.
