lazloisdavrock
Cant help but notice, anyone else? I think alot of people jumped onboard after 4 came out. In all due respect, I think the quality of the forum has declined a little bit. I can understand Lurking on the boards for awhile, but dang. Maybe it would be wise to put a 50 post limit before being able to make your own thread? Thoughts? I miss all the old quality posters if you know what I mean. Jay
In the eyes of other, older members, he was part of an equally pathetic influx, and coincided with an equally 'noticeable' dip in quality. It's nothing new, it's nothing special, and it is nothing to be concerned over.

unopescio
I miss all the old quality posters if you know what I mean. Õ_Õ IV and the influx of members it created was the greatest ever blight on these forums. Anyone who joined even later than that is super aids. Ronmar The Only
Quick question: why are you talking about this now? You say a lot of people jumped onboard after 4 (which I take to be GTA IV) came out. You do realize that GTA IV came out a hell of a long time ago, right? Why has this finally peeked your interest into creating a thread? Now, I do understand your thoughts about the forum dipping with new members. It happens. Just like how online games that just come out with millions of sales have whiny, teenage boys playing them screaming in your ears. I sometimes sing or scream out NINJA ASSASSIN while playing MAG, but that is because I walk around with only a silenced pistol and knife. I think I deserve the right. And, to the post limit before creating a thread, I think that could only possibly work within certain areas of the forums. Would it work in any creative forum on the site? Hell no. Finn 7 five 11
I am not an old member, but not a noob either, i have noticed in the last few motnhs there have been loads of new members, since there has been some GTA V rumors. What do you mean downhill? You can't just say that and not elaborate.

Jay
Oh yeah the post limit before making a thread is completely buttf*ckingly retarded. I was in the frontline when IV came out (so I think I know what I'm talking about) and the vast, vast majority of new members at the time (from which the tiniest percentage to eventually become decent, contributing members) sign up just to post a question topic. They don't want to make an arbitrary number of posts before asking a question when that is all they want to do in the first place. Remove that ability, remove the incentive to register, remove the activity on these forums that languishes in between game releases.

Look, there's always waves around here. What you've got now is the GTAIV generation whov'e grown tired of the game and have started experimenting with the rest of the forum. Don't worry - they'll comes around. Just like most of the rest of you redheaded stepchildren. The bottom line - don't worry. Be happy. cactus.
Silly noobs aren't always bad its better than having no-one on the forum, if only to prove them wrong, or explain things to them. The irony is so thick right now I could cut it with a knife. Either you have a very selective memory, or you're just an idiot. GTA's don't get announced at E3's, they usually get posted up on the website or announced in gaming magazines and the like, not at some gaming convention.every year its "GTA going to be announced at E3" blah blah blah. Needless to say, his ass was aptly handed to him on a plate soon thereafter.
sonnyBlack
It's just how the cycle goes really. You can't expect all new members to be top quality posters on the forums. Some might act a little dumb as they don't quite have the feel of the community yet, others might be totally new to forums in general and don't quite know what they're doing but will get the hang of it in time, and of course you just have your complete idiots and trolls looking to start trouble. But yes, new members will come by and make mistakes, so welcome them and help them. Set a good example for them so they can grow up to be big ad strong. Or at least better at posting so the quality of the forums can stay up.

ChossenOne
I've been a member of another forum for quite a while, and I look down at the n00bs. Yes, i'm a sinner. You feel like everyone that joined a month after you is a complete retard. The irony is i'm a n00b here, and now someone is going to point that out, call me a retard and then tell me to f*ck off.
