This is how it works, if you post 'Present' then you assume that GTA will take place whenever it is released. GTA4 was released in 2008 and took place in that 'Present' time period. Noob_Noobersson Posted April 17, 2011 Share Posted April 17, 2011 Year: 2155 Place: Martian Megalopolis/Wasteland earth (able to move back and forth between cities on Mars and burnt-out-rebel-held cities and slave colonies situated on a post-war earth where plants and animals now are the dominant species and Humans scrape out a meager existence mining resources for the elitists who fled to Mars 100 years before. ) Race: Alien/Human hybrid playing a criminal robin-hood type role........ j/k No I think it will probably be in LA with a lot of emphasis being placed on Hollywood, celebrity lifestyles and the huge Drug War being waged across the border in Mexico. I think there will be travel into Mexico, to cities modeled after Tijuana, and maybe some other locals. I think there will definitely be some open-range-wilderness-type area's and they will be populated by wild animals. And I think there will be kids in the game too---and they will be fat...seeing as though the media keeps talking about the childhood obesity epidemic in the states....and one of the registered R* domains is "Kidsfitclub.com" Location: LA/Hollywood/Mexico/interspersed wilderness.
