PrussianPrince
Well, after I re-installed my OS, I took the conclusion that I have more problems with my PC than I had before. I mainly fixed what I figured about the lag of my PC, but now I have few more problems. One of them would be the thing that anytime, but anytime I restart my PC, or shut it down and open it, the Internet has a problem and it appears to be two active Networks, for a reason, one of it being my Home Network and one of it being Unidentified Network. I disabled each time one of them and then the other disappeared. Then, I troubleshooted it and my Home Network appeared and the Internet works. But if I restart or shut down the PC and open it again, I have to do the same thing to make my Internet working. I find this being very annoying and I am sure there's a fix to it. If I haven't explained well enough, I'll be putting a picture in the next reboot I'll have on the PC.

Wolf68k
Ok first things first; clean the system. Run a good virus scanner, then spyware scanner, registry cleaner, chkdsk and lastly defrag. See if that fixes anything. Next go to the laptop maker's website and get the ethernet drivers for your laptop. Uninstall the the drivers for the ethernet from the Device Manager. Then install from the download. When you said you had reinstalled the OS, what exactly does that mean? Most laptops have a protected partition so you can do system repairs or even a complete factory restore of the laptop. If you're still pretty fresh to this reinstall of the OS but didn't do the factory restore then try that, just make sure you back up whatever you might need first. PrussianPrince
I did a complete scan and found nothing. I also checked for an update for the Internet driver and found none. This is what I get when I open up my computer. After I disable the Local Area connection and enable it back, the Internet works.
Wolf68k
First you say you're using ethernet and now you show me Wifi. So which is it? As for the drivers; I never said to get updates. I said to get THE drivers, updates or not. Go to HP's support page Click on Drivers & Software Enter in the model number Select the OS, click on the plus (+) for Driver-Network Find the drivers for your wifi. If you don't know or aren't sure which one, in my case my G71-340 shows 4 different wireless drivers, then check with the Device Manager in Windows. Download the drivers UNINSTALL the current drivers, most likely will require a restart Install new drivers from what you downloaded. If Windows does it detects new hardware and asks where to install the drivers from, click Cancel. Then install the downloaded drivers.
