I'm trying to edit a letter i was sent through the post, but when i scan the Image onto my computer and open it on Word as a PDF. file it comes out looking completely different, Whether its just my 'OCR' program sucks i don't know. Can anyone offer any suggestions or help? Or if anyone doesn't mind having a crack themselves at it would be massively appreciated.. I've looked all over Google for answers but I've done pretty much everything. I noticed when i did open the open in another File type it came out in coding, is their anything i can do? Would it be worth asking one of the GFX guys to edit for me maybe? Unsure if it's possible though.. The ability to do PDFs in word is still kind of new(office 07). You may want to see if it looks and works better in Adobe Acrobat(full one - not just the reader). Why not scan it in as an image and then just photoshop up the text you want to edit? It sounded promising until you mentioned Photoshop as i don't have it at home. Any chance you could have a crack for me? Cant tell you how much i'd appreciate it. Rob, It turned out to be a photoshop job and I know you have far greater ps skills then I. I managed everything except I don't know how to filter the fresh text (standard arial font) to make it look like it has the flaws it would from a typewriter. If the version I did doesn't cut the mustard maybe I can just send you over my layers?
