GTA V on PC (Games for Windows)

As you all know , Rockstar's way of releasing was : Release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 first than make PC users wait 6-8 months and release than.

 

So here i want to see what people think of GTA V case ; Will it come along with PS3 and Xbox 360 release silmatoneus, or the status quo release after 6-8 month?

 

Now i honestly think history will repeat , but seeing as RDR isn't even announced for PC is questioning this. And than again it is San Diego... And they don't like PC too much. There should also be a pre-petition to vote on releasing on PC when it's released for consoles too.

 

 

Also despite it being a crappy port , i still loved PC version much better than consoles , and therefore i support the release for PC.

Interesting note about San Diego, When they were still Angel Studios, they released 2 PC exclusive games, both published by Microsoft directly. (Midtown Madness 1 and 2) And only their first game after becoming Rockstar San Diego was published on PC. (Midnight Club 2)

No. Hurts to say it, but now. It's never been like that and I don't think it'll ever be. The reason why it's released in that way it because of pure marketing and moneymaking. Look, a PS3 or Xbox 360 game costs way more than any PC game, so at first they sell all they have, and when things calm down a bit, then BAM! PC game is released. Sorry

I think they'll stick to releasing it 6-8 months later. I guess we can only hope it'll turn out better than IV PC.....

GTA was born on PC, we deserve to have a simultaneous release.

But sadly , it's bussinness and not any more than that for Rockstar , so they are most likely to be bound on doing it the old - fashioned way as most of you here said yourself

The PC market is just an added bonus for Rockstar. As long as consoles are around, it will never be their primary target. The worst part about GTA IV was Rockstar's complete lack of effort in creating a proper port for the PC. I have been let down horribly. I think we all can wait another 7-8 months after the game is released only to be let down again. :-/

Yeah consoles will always be around, it is a shame, i would not even have a console if PC games were released at the same time, if i do ever get a new PC i will have a console anyway.
