In every country (well, except possibly Somalia), there are safe areas and unsafe areas. There are large swathes of Mexico that are essentially unaffected by the drug-related violence that plagues the major urban and suburban areas. My cousin recently came back from a 6-week honeymoon in Mexico and they weren't shot, stabbed, blown up, beheaded, threatened or even spoken to rudely for the entire more-than-a-month. Yes, but if I were to go to mexico, the areas I would want to go to are full of drug cartels and whatnot, so thats what I was trying to get across. Icarus Posted January 8, 2012 Share Posted January 8, 2012 I've always had a fascination with Russia, so I'd like to visit there one day, specifically Moscow and St. Petersburg. I'd also like to see Volgograd (formerly known as Stalingrad) as that's where, depending on your take, the tone of World War II changed. I'd love to do a several month US and Canada road trip Netherlands, specifically Amsterdam Germany, for the Nurburgring A European road trip round all 27 EU member states, plus Switzerland and Norway Iceland -insane geography Tunisia - always looks amazing on tv Morocco - hashish, could combine with a trip to Spain and/or Portugal Road trip around Egypt, Israel, Palestine (West Bank) and Jordan Kenya Ghana South Africa Philippines - incredibly beautiful on tv, not too touristy Japan - Tokyo, and go see a round of D1GP South Korea North Korea - a trip to remember as long as I don't end up in a 're-education' centre for the rest of my life... India, Pakistan and Nepal road trip Brazil - beaches, great weather, apparently the hottest chicks in the world Caribbean island hop - Jamaica, Puerto Rico etc New Zealand - beautiful scenery, the whole country looks amazing as a whole Madagascar And finally an island paradise like the Seychelles f*ck, I'm gonna need lots of £££££££ Bonus - Shepton Mallet.
