MostOfAll
Do you keep your ticket stubs for movies, concerts, etc.? I try to, but I end up losing them. Keeping ticket stubs is a good way to maintain memories, particularly if the dates are on the tickets.

Keeping ticket stubs is a good way to maintain memories, particularly if the dates are on the tickets. I don't think the memories are tied to the stub. If it was a fun time the memory will be preserved naturally.  The amount of concerts I have seen is in the 100s. I have not one ticket stub. SilentSeas
As stupid as it sounds, I stick them all in a sketchbook and use it as a record of what football matches, concerts and landmarks I've been to.
sofa_king
I had 6 Pantera ticket stubs and a bass guitar pick from Rex that I had captured at one of there concerts and my grandma pitched it all in the garbage because she thought it was scrap paper or something... Brown Sugar
I've kept a few, a red hot chilli peppers concert at hampden a few years ago, a champions league match between celtic and arsenal and a spanish league match between mallorca and getafe from when I was on holiday in mallorca. AlexGTAGamer
I've got 2 ticket stubs from 2 movies I saw (The Simpsons Movie and 2012) and a few football game tickets, 2 from me and the others from my dad.
Tsar_Smirnoff
I've saved several over the years, most of them being concert tickets. My most treasured one is probably a ticket stub from one of the Grateful Dead's last concerts at The Pyramid in Memphis, Tn (1995). I also have a few old WCW ticket stubs from when they visited Knoxville a few times in the late 90's, lol.
Phazar
I keep as many of mine as possible.
Oddsock
No. I try to discard of what I don't need, but of course I don't follow that to a tee, otherwise I wouldn't be here would I? Â Anyway, like someone else said, I don't need a stub to hold memories for me. Even if I saved it just to save it, I learned to not do that from my grandparents. It took us an entire summer to clean out their house from all the crap they had hoarded. Not just items and food, but boxes upon boxes of useless papers. Â I'd prefer to not hoard useless things. Jay
Movies, no. Concerts, yes. Â I stick them on my wall so I can gloat when people see it. I'm vapid.
Dark.
I never actually took the idea into account. I didn't care if I lost or kept a ticket stub. Although I've only been to a few concerts, I think the only one I have lying around is from when I saw Ratt (not a big fan, but the tickets were free). It was kinda cool, because a friend and I bumped into a few of the guys in an elevator and struck up a chat. Â Anyway, my memory's fine; I'm not that old yet. Why would I need to keep proof that I went to a movie or saw a concert? I don't need to prove anything to anyone.
Girish
I used to keep movie tickets in my wallet. Hell, at one point, I even used to keep chocolate wrappers in my drawer. I remember when I was in school, I had this Toblerone box that I loved so much. My much younger niece had come over and happened to find it. I tried to trade a toy car for it, but she wouldn't let it go. Eventually, I had to pinch her and steal it from her when she was busy crying. ChossenOne
I've only been to 3 concerts, and two of 'em i snuck into for free. I've only kept two tickets. A Metallica concert from November, i keep it in my wallet. And a Carlton vs Collingwood game from 2002. It was the first game i went to and it's been pinned to the fridge ever since. cactus.
I'd kept all my concert tickets with hopes of one day doing something cool with them. But I'm no longer 17 and now realize that a coffee table with a collage of ticket stubs underneath the protective glass cover doesn't look so 'cool.' Robinski
Not ticket stubs, bit I am still wearing these 11/2 year old and 6 month old wristbands from festivals I've been to. It's not as disgusting as it sounds because they wash perfectly well in the shower. I've met people with whole arms covered in them from 6+ years ago and multiple festivals in single years. Â Â I'll eventually have to cut 'em off if I end up in some part time job at a bar or somewhere with food.
