ilparad
Hey folks, I just bought GTA 4, as it is a budget title meanwhile. I patched GTA 4 to 1.0.7.0 and everything went fine during the first couple of minutes, than every few seconds and especially when I was sitting in a car, the graphics froze, but not the whole game as e.g. the radio kept playing. After I waited a little while (10-30 sec) the game went on just normally. I guess it is some issue with my graphics card but, what issue? I run: Core I7 920 @3.8 GHz 60°C inGame MSI GTX 260 OC Edition 75°C in Game 12GB OCZ Ram 120GB OCZ SSD Vertex 2 My settings are all set to high except the vision @ 1920*1200 resolution. Hope you folks can help me, best regards, parad

YankeesPwnMets
I assume your GTX 260 has the standard 896 MB of video memory, so 896 x 1024 x 1024 = 939524096 In notepad, type in -memrestrict 939524096 save it as commandline.txt, go to your Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV folder and put the commandline file in that folder
