What parts do I need to run this game?

Ok I did that Game o Meter can you run it website and my computer dont even come close at all to minimum and I'm dying to mod this game so, what do I need.

 

 

I have NVIDIA GeForce 7100 / nForce 630i Graphics card and a

Intel Pentium Dual-Core E5200 Processor

I'm way past good for memory tho.

 

I have a Vista too.

 

I want to have the optimized stuff and it says I need a

ATI Radeon HD 4870 1GB Graphics card and a

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 Processor

 

 

Is those things good? Or have they been updated or what? I need some help.

To run this game with having fun you need at least:

 

A good QuadCore CPU (QuadCore is minimum), I suggest minimum 2,4GHz core frequency, more is always better coz GTA4 is hungry for CPU power. I use [email protected],3 GHz, I think it´s hardly enough.

 

Absolute minimum is an actual GFX card with at least one GB VRAM. I used a Radeon HD5770, it was OK, I´m on PNY GTX460 XLR8 now, much better... both 1GB cards. HD 4870 is not enough to play with comfort.

If you wanna play with really high quality graphics you will need something like GTX5**/GTX4** with more than just one GB RAM. I strongly recommend to use an NVidia product cause alot trouble may hit you when using ATI product. If you wanna use ATI you´ll need a HD58**/HD59**/HD6***.

 

4GB normal RAM should be installed minimum. (GTA4.exe goes up to 3,???? GB RAM usage on my system)

 

A 64-bit operating system may also help but I use 32-bit. Keep in mind that on 32-bit systems you cannot install more than 4GB RAM no matter how much you install.

 

 

I´m using:

 

- C2Q [email protected],3GHz

- PNY GTX460 XLR8 1GB (slightly overclocked GTX460)

- 4 GB RAM

- Vista 32-bit with latest updates

- my motherboard is quiete low quality, I even don´t know what brand...

 

I´m can run the game in 1920x1080 with mostly maximum settings plus ENB modification (no AA enabled) and get about 40/50 FPS.
