Mine is the episodes. San Andreas was a pain but I made it.

GTA VCS is the easiest in my opinion. It tracked all of things like balloons and stunt jumps completed on the map.

SA was actually quite easy for me. Took a while, but made it through.

But I think GTA 3 was probably the easiest 100.

The easiest Is probably EFLC and the hardest would be SA.

GTA III easily. I just can't be f*cked to find 200 pigeons in GTA IV, it's not hard but just very annoying and time consuming.

I almost said GTA III until i remembered the stupid ass Partiot challenge, god damn that was hard.

I ended up going for GTA IV, most of the stuff needed for 100% was easy, but annoying, like delivering LJ's drug packages.

The easiest thing in gta iv was by far the missions, i didn't have any grit my teeth moments.

Vice City for me, as i've done it so many times now.

San Andreas was the hardest, purely because of the volume of stuff to do to complete 100%

Never finished III to 100% as there were a few things I could never complete, like the (Patriot) offroad missions, they were insanely hard.

GTA IV, in hindsight, was probably the easiest, but was quite time consuming and a bit boring.

VCS, I didn't enjoy the game enough to warrant completing 100%.

LCS, i've done to 100% a couple of times.

IV is the only one I have ever bothered with the side missions but I have never ever completed 100% on any GTA game! wow.gif

Does that make me a n00b?

If u never played GTA series or only played a few missions, u'r a n00b, but if u completed the story missions in any GTA u'r not a n00b and u can be called a real GTA fan smile.gif

The beauty about GTA is there's no "wrong" way of playing it. It's a mark of a good game where it allows you to hit an enemy head on, sneak around the back and take them by surprise, or get people in to do the work for you.

Although GTA lacks any kind of stealth mechanics and cops seems to be able to track you like GPS, it's one of those games that can be played in any way.

doing all the story missions then the side missions for example, or never doing the sideys, sure you get a 100% stat, and some small reward (vice city's was funniest) but at the end of the day its a game thats meant to be fun. That has to come first.

@poll: GTA IV itself. TBoGT was a pain, as i really struggled in the fight club for weeks (until learning of the ability to sit out a round) - i just suck at countering and personally i prefer Assassin Creed II/B's system.

Never finished III simply cos i never cba.

Vice i think i did once. I'm not 100% on that (haha geddit? )

SA i defo didn't. Could never be bothered (though i got most of the way there...)

VCS and LCS i also can't remember if i ever did.

IV took ages, it added to replayabilty, i did not find it boring at all but i got the 100%

Chinatown Wars is the only one I've completed to 100% (twice, may I add), so I voted for that. All the side-missions like Paramedic and the time trials had a Bronze/Silver/Gold thing at the end rather than just a pass, and you only had to get bronze on them all, which was rather easy. But all you got upon getting 100% was a little pop-up message of congratulations, which was kinda lame.

I still did it twice though.

GTA SA is pretty fun to do 100% but I'll say the Episodes are easier.

I've gotten hundreds (maybe thousands) of hours of gameplay, story playthroughs, and just messing around of all of the games combined since at least 2002. So far I've only done VCS and the episodes to 100%, and I've only done the "packages/pigeons/collectibles" in the episodes, VCS, horseshoes in SA, and in LCS. I've gotten to about 97-98 packages in III and VC, could never find the last few goddamn ones angry.gif .

Overall I would say VCS was the easiest to get 100% in. Like someone said before me, it tracked your progress of balloons and stunt jumps on the map. True, it did have the worst and most inaccurate Brady Games guide for all the GTAs (at least on collectibles), but users did a good job of creating guides for the PSP and PS2. Missions like Paramedic and that air firefighter saved every 5/10/15 levels (something like that). Was it very helpful and convenient and needed? Hell yes, but there's no denying it made them easier to do. Once you knew how to workaround every glitch the game was easy.

True, the episodes were both pretty short and easy. I got 100% on them in two or three months. VCS took me at least a year. That's only because I was very determined and into it, and unlike in III-LCS, the side missions and collectibles didn't seem like such a harsh and annoying challenge. I guess one could say both DLCs are easier, but for a main game VCS was.

I just got 100% in TBOGT almost completely without realizing. lol

So my vote goes to EFLC, although I haven't checked to see how close I am at 100% in TLAD yet.

I like GTA and Saints Row

I've never actually got 100% on a GTA game before. The only one I've even got close to that was San Andreas, where I got just over 98%. Probably because that's the one I enjoyed the most so I was compelled to keep playing more than the others. I'd say they're all hard. I can usually never be bothered with the collectables.

I Didn't know so many people thought San Andreas was the hardest. Sure there's alot to do. But it's more fun than finding 200 pigeons!! This is one of the reasons i can't get myself to finish GTA IV 100%

Vice City was probably the easiest and fastest.

III was easy but hard.

San Andreas was easy but long.

Vice City Stories was easy and a little bit long.

Liberty City was easy and a little bit long.

I never played the other games, unfortunately.

I'm surprised I'm the only one to vote LCS. To me that game seemed really short since there was only a few races, some time trials, and the usual paramedic/collections/rampages/etc. I wasn't even trying for 100% when I started it but ended up around 72% by the end. I got distracted for a while then when I came back to it banged out the last 28% in a day. It goes really fast.
