I have a PS3 slim 120GB My PS3 works fine bt when I put in a disk and start the game the TV turns black , digital games work fine though. This is only a fan test and it doesn't really do anything except cooling the console more quickly. 3 beeps at the end DO NOT MEAN IT'S OVERHEATING. The 3 beeps signal the end of the test. Well, the test isn't designed to cool the console, just to make sure the fan is working properly, this usually sucks dust and crap in there though, which could affect some PS3's, i wouldn't bother with the test though, its a waste of time and probably sucks excess dust into the unit.
