chris
My grandad broke the million pound mark back in the 70's/80's after opening a chain of butchers shops around Merseyside and the surrounding areas, not bad when you take into consideration he came from essentially the ghetto of Liverpool and worked his way up. My other grandad owned a TV repair business back in the days when having a colour TV meant you had some serious cash, he used to fix the colour TV's up and keep them for a while in his house for my dad and the other kids to watch, scouse twat Myself personally? Well since i left school i went to college to learn about Joinery and since leaving i've worked self employed on quite a few different projects, unfortunately finding jobs has become next to impossible for the less time served workers so i've been looking elsewhere for any old job to tide me over. I plan on getting out to Australia at somepoint this year on a working visa since a couple of my mates have done so and are on ridiculous money. Two of them are working for a company building interior walls and are earning £25 ($42AUS) an hour doing 42 hours a week, they've been doing this for the last 4 months and the contract has been extended for another year so they're basically raking in the cash doing a job i know full well i could do myself all whilst i sit at home with no work available just envying having that kind of pocket money. blitz
Well since I'm a kid, I need money to buy stuff mommy and daddy won't get me, so I had work of my own. Well, for a while I got stuff from like the US and sold it higher here since there's no many things. I got free stuff they hand out (samples and stuff) and resold it. In small amounts, I've made over $2,000.
trip
I wish I had my own business. I'm stuck working for the man. Although, my great grandfather on my dad's side was the town barber, and the shop was his. Does that get any points? Jay
no idea of its name in english. Greengrocer. I don't own a business but my dad does. He services and repairs electric motors, which is a fairly busy industry considering the mining boom in this part of the world.
macorules94
My great Uncle owns a Tavern in the CBD and behind it there is a whole heap of space and he has proposed a hotel at 26 levels, (Carlton Hotel, Perth WA) but they shire only let him go up to 19 levels because of some crap so now he's just going to build it at 19 levels. Excuse him for wanting to build a tall building in the City dumb retards. There's a thread here on Skyscrapercity discussing it.
