shahmen
Try to delete the gta_sa.set file from the User Files folder. Try to find all files that goes with san andreas and delete them. And re-install again.
Chimpsie
Any mods installed ? If so try to uninstall them. Windows 7 sometimes makes me bang my head on the wall because of its problems.
shahmen
Try this to. If you're on Vista or 7 , you'll need to do this:1) Uninstall SA. 2) Delete the installation folder if it still exists. (e.g. C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas). 3) Delete the Virtual Store copy of the installation folder too. The Appdata folder might be hidden. (e.g. C:\Users\???\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas). 4) Delete the gta_sa.set file from your user files folder. 5) Reboot. 6) Reinstall SA. lil weasel
Ok. You have Windows 7, You previously had the game installed with mods. You Have the Triology Box set. You Uninstalled that game (it was working at that time.) You decided to Re-installed the game. It didn't work so you Un-installed it again. You deleted the GTA_SA.set file. You deleted the Hidden Files in the Virtual Store File, which would override game installation if you don't. You Are using the Administraive Privileges. You are running the game in the W98 mode. You are Not using nor trying to use a No-CD crack. Are these statements Correct? Edited March 24, 2011 by lil weasel

lil weasel
Don't double post, If no reply has been made to a posting Use the EDIT button ao add/delete/change information on the posting. You installed Mods into a Game that has never run on your computer? That means a new set of questions: You did install the game from the Original DVD? You are trying to run the game with the Original DVD in the Drive? You know that only Version (Edition) 1 games are easily modable? You now know that you must have a running/working Version (Edition) 2 game Before you Downgrade to add mods? (Downgrading is Not Discussed on there Forums. You're on your own to figure that out.) The Virtual Files are Hidden. You will have to go to the System File and UN-hide them (Make All Files Visible). Since the Game has never run, there is No GTA_SA.set file to Delete. There are No save files in your Documents GTA San Andreas file?
