eHeadache Posted March 24, 2011 Share Posted March 24, 2011 ...ive been on the online multi player for just over 2 weeks and apart from the idiots, and people trying to get me to give them my login details for 800 microsoft points, the other thing that is grinding my gears is all the talk about turbos. What the fudge is a turbo? Ive even been accused of using one. But I guess thats a compliment really, not my fault I can kill level 0-3 newbies with a couple of headshots as they come running at me guns blazing. Madmonk420 Posted March 24, 2011 Share Posted March 24, 2011 They are accusing you of having a rapid fire controller.Its a common complaint when people get their fannies rubbed.No doubt there are many on the loose in liberty but most noobs just default to accusing you of cheating rather than admit they are unskilled.Out of curiosity are you a disallow or an autoaimer??? eHeadache Posted March 24, 2011 Author Share Posted March 24, 2011 Ill play in either really, but if the truth be told I prefer auto aim, im abit of a lazy gamer and prefer auto aim games, however skills learned in non auto modes are fantastic to use in auto games, When i dont autoaim on people I always seem to kill them first providing my shots were on target. Im not immune to doing a epic fail thou, but I dont play with an attitude like alot of people seem to, I just laught it off. Dont understand why people engage in a row over the xbox, only to be reduced to cussing each others mothers. Its like infant school all over some days. I love this game so much. So if someone is out of range for auto aim keep the target on them and you will notice that you can hit them in free aim from a greater distance than when you are locked on. I wont say to much but the use of autoaim really pisses me off.Its tolerable in certain game types but not for my my favourite type which is team mafiya work.What you have is a situation when spineless maggots pick up a mission item ie briefcase ect then just sit tight with an m4 in the players hands and their cock in thier own hands.Just offing noobs in record numbers.Wont even accept the challenge of 1 game of disallow to prove thier true skill. My only educated guess is its some kind of gamepad with a turbo button function? take it as a compliment, a turbo is just a means of cheating, it gives automatic weapons the ability to shoot quicker a lot of people dont like getting shot in the head, so accuse you of using a turbo, i'd say just ignore them. DX2069 Posted March 24, 2011 Share Posted March 24, 2011 i think that people that use turbos are sad. i think its sad that you dont have the skill to use a regular controller and that you have to go out and buy a special controller so that you dont suck anymore but some still suck even with a turbo haha. i have never used one and wont cause i dont need one. on a side note im pretty sure that PS3 disabled the use of 3rd party controllers in a firmware update. Nitty Don Posted March 24, 2011 Share Posted March 24, 2011 (edited) I played GTA for 2 years before I brought one, it was the only way on the xbox if you wanted to compete in ranked TDM's as it got to the point of atleast 70% of the top ranked players using them, i've been playing on the PS3 for only 2 months and so far I have only seen 1 player who possibly may have been using 1, its so refreshing Trust me I would much prefer to play the game with no turbo pads so everybody is on a level playing ground, unfortunately on the 360 its only level if you have one, also as you said just cos someone has one it doesn't instantly make you a great player you still have to know how to play, if you suck, you suck Edited March 24, 2011 by Nitty Don Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
