Lady GaGa's "Born THis Way" video is about making a new alien race.Katy Perry's new songs "E.T" is about falling in love with something non-human.The movie paul is abut saving friendly alien and it is markated as kids friendly , Battle of LA is about fighting off aliens from attacking out planet(I think?)and their is a bunch of other recent movies that have aliens in them. I cant be the only one noticing this , im surpised more people dont find it strange. By this you mean you are right? Anyway, aliens are possibly the easiest way to create an "us and them" situation in narratives, hence them being so pervasive in movies and other mediums. They're also part of the strange unknown, the same sort of thing will have happened with "savages" in the times of pre- or early colonialism where the strange, unusual natives from far off lands were either romanticised or demonised depending on what story you wanted to tell. As the world's got smaller, there aren't many places/people like that to do it with now, so we turned to the skies instead. Oh, and I think you're missing the point with the Born This Way video, it's not actually about aliens at all, but rather different mindsets in society and other sh*t like that which I can't be arsed to go into. Human nature is to seek understanding and to have faith in certain things, for most people the thought of not being "alone" is comforting, which IMO is why religion exists, but that's another discussion entirely. I look into conspiracies from time to time since I find them so interesting, and sometimes even true, if you know anything about the NWO stuff an alien invasion would be a rather brilliant idea for them to use to field us security from ..but find it highly unlikely haha Note to others, mainstream media in general affects your everyday life and ways of thinking in a much more grand way than many people would ever suspect. Humans meeting aliens would be a great way to introduce us to demons if you think about it. Although I am not sure if I belive in all that NWO/Illuminati stuff, but their definitely could be something going on that we dont know about.
