Akavari
I recently got Episodes From Liberty City and installed it. I had GTA IV in the past, which ran decently, but now it's unplayable. The frame rate stays so low at all times that I can barely even navigate the pause menu. I tried messing around with the graphics settings, but to no avail. It's got the most recent patch too. Anyone know a way I could go about fixing this? All I really use the game for is to collect screenshots, record in-game clips, and screw around with a trainer, so I can deal with a frame rate as low as say 10-15. But right now it is just impossible to play.
The Lolwut Pear
Try turning the shadows off. If not, turn VSync off.

YankeesPwnMets
Can we get your full specs? Patch number? Is this a digitally downloaded or DVD copy? Also, the way your describing this, it seems like this could be a issue with running out of RAM
