junkie2115
What are the levels that makes you feel good inside? The levels that you never wanna finish or you always look forward to in the game. Edited March 22, 2011 by junkie2115

Rhoda
It may sound juvenile but since I've been old enough to hold a pad in my palms, there were no other levels I used to look forward to more than those in the Crash Bandicoot series, particularly the third game "Warped". Let's be honest, 95% of the levels went in a straight line, but the levels set in Egypt and on the Great Wall of China just left me wanting to play them again, just for gems. Dunpeal
Not sure which world/level it was. But the castle level where it's split into parts, and you have to do each part in the right combination to move onto the next part. So much fun

foohy
Modern Warfare 2 -'Wolverines!' Say what you want about MW2's story [and everything else], but this is easily one of my most memorable gaming moments ever. Hearing; "I'm lookin' at fighter jets over I-95! How the hell did they get through!?" as sirens blare in the background is downright terrifying for me. I drove that highway every day for 8 years. mark-2007
Haha, yeah, the tiger riding one was my favourite. The one where you're chased by a dinosaur was good too, although I used to get a bit flustered with it when younger. The only thing that was kinda sh*t about it was the basement warp room where you basically just had to redo all the levels only within a time limit. Oh, and the airplane level where you had to shoot down the Cortex zeppelins was good, as were the bike races. The boss fights, particularly N. Gin's and N. Trophy's, were good too. As someone else pointed out, Hitman games. I caught on a bit too late and only ever got Blood Money before they stopped making them and I eventually got a PS3 (eagerly awaiting #5) but some of the levels were class, particularly the durg rehab clinic one, the suburban witness protection one, and the Mississippi riverboat one. Not to mention some of the GTA missions! III had some quality missions, loved going for and against the Yakuza in particular and just driving around near Kenji's. The Vice City bank heist was class. As was storming Diaz's mansion, and also 'Death Row' where I think you had to save Lance - I remember it being pretty difficult, I think it was the point where I usually used to revert to cheating when I played it through the first few times. San Andreas missions such as the first burglary one with Ryder and the train chase with big Smoke on the bike, and I just remembered the one where you help Cesar and his gang after getting back to Los Santos. Ah, memories - so many hours wasted/well spent playing the GTAs. All this makes me wish my PS3 had backwards compatability with PS2 games, would still be playing Blood Money and all the GTAs. Shame they couldn't release them to PSN even, I'd willingly pay again for them if prices were reasonable. Adler
Probably every boss fight in the MGS series is something to look forward to. ...and Kojima wondered, "How can I top a boss fight with the best Metal Gear ever? 25 METAL GEAR RAYS!" mark-2007
Oh f*ck, I forgot the first few Tomb Raiders! Namely anything from the first one: the opening Andes cave levels with wolves and, somehow, bears to shoot. The Roman Gods chamber was pretty good. The huge room with crocodiles in where you could adjust water levels. The whole game pretty much. And more recently, the first Uncharted game where the undead Spaniards make themselves known. Uncharted 2's equivalent moment was good, but didn't have the same nerve-wracking effect on me as the first.
Long Haired Freaky Guy
The Plant on MGS2 is one of my favourites. Having like 90% of a game based in just one building, yet been able to pull it off, is genius. From the Zelda series, it has to be: Ocarina Of Time: Hyrule Market is the best setting for me, but in terms of temples and that, it has to be Wind Waker: Best level/setting was Windfall Island, or Hyrule Castle. Twilight Princess: Death Mountain. and from the SSX series are great levels too. One thing I've always loved with the SSX series is the great level design. darthYENIK
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, Operation Overlord... It took a while to realize that you couldn't just run up the beach like a action movie star, and blow everyone away. You had to actually run from cover to cover, and even then you weren't guaranteed to live. Plus it was years in the making. The first MoH was heavily influenced by Saving Private Ryan, and was even developed by dreamworks if I remember correctly. But it took a couple years for PC technology to catch up to actually have a Omaha beach landing level. It was mind blowing at the time. And MOH:AA Spearhead This came out just after Band of Brothers, and really satisfied the screaming eagle action craving. Sticking with WWII games... Call of Duty: United Offensive, Battle of the Bulge There are so many great levels in the original Call of Duty, plus United Offensive, bu this is probably my favorite. The bomber level is a close second. And I almost forgot, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory I don't know how many times, and different ways I've played this level. Claude4Catalina
possibly SOG in Black Ops....the wholesome Vietnam goodness without the 'I'm going crazy' sh*t. I've got a set out method to complete it 'Nam style. swap weapons out for M14 ACOG and Stakeout, then pick up an M60 after destroying T-55's, then from the push down the hill to the barrels and back up the other side, hipfire the M60, save 100 rounds before you get in the Jeep, dive to prone before getting in Jeep and expend 100 rounds by spraying at Charlie. Ooooorah.
Menaced
Medal of Honor - "Gunfighters" Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - "War Pig" The No Mercy campaign from Left 4 Dead is also a favorite of mine, in particular the Mercy Hospital part. I also adored many of the Crash Bandicoot levels, especially the sewer ones in Crash Bandicoot 2 and the Egypt and futuristic ones in Warped.
