fliplip Posted March 21, 2011 Share Posted March 21, 2011 Firstly, that's not his real voice, his real voice is slot deeper and different, secondly I doubt that it will be him but if it is rockstar will know what they're doing, there's no way they will have their lead character sounding like a joke, they are too proud of their games to make a new one for people/critics to laugh at. We had to watch the movie for a company I work for, and honestly, I thought he was a terrible actor. He’s better when you don’t see his face, because when you do, you realize he can’t really play any other character other than…himself…Gilbert Gottfried. First off, for people saying he's "trolling", think about it, GG is on the OUSIDE circle of what's going on in the GTA world. To him, the game isn’t announced and he’s a c or d list celeb who clearly has no idea about gaming or anything. Most of the news we get about these leaks have been from the gamer sites that we frequent, not MSNBC homepage. There is absolutely no reason to make a joke about it. It's NOT news!!!! On the other hand, I agree that he didn’t get the lead. He may be a main character, or like someone said, a radio DJ. I love GG, He's defiantly funny, but his voice can get annoying. But that only proves my point. He doesn’t care about games, he probably got the message from his assistant who both has no idea what’s going on. He's a little in the dark about GTA 5 or he wouldn't even have posted it on his twitter in the first place, going against R*'s "rules". Thats what made them great, nobody knew who it was, so it was like the character had that voice themself, and wasn't just some overpaid actor who everyone knew, and instead of seeing CJ, or Niko, they saw the celebrity, would you rather have eminem play as Niko, or have one of the wayans brothers play as CJ? If the Rockstar's response (the poster) is not a bogus we can consider him taking a role in the game just like the movie on that poster 'cause I don't think they're going to joke about this "situation" with a sh*tty "problem child" written poster on it.
