panbot3000
Hey, I have just started trying to add new cars to GTAIV and after a few hours of searching on the internet I am confused. I understand how to replace the default cars and also how to install the realistic handling mods. What confuses me though, is can I just replace the default cars (Sultan --> Impreza for example) without importing the related handling lines that mod suggests in the readme? I only ask as I would prefer to use a complete overhaul so the handling is more consistent than say mods from dozens of different people with different ideas about how the handling should be. My plan was to use the handling overhaul and then pick similar cars to the ones that are intended (Blista --> Megane RS250) and make some slight modifications myself so that the performance is more in line with a Megane. I have read that not importing the handling lines included with mods can causes issues though. So to sum up, can I use a handling overhaul mod and then just import new cars in without using the handling lines associated with that mod and not encounter major problems? Thanks. HD1221
You don't need to put in the included handling line with the cars; they'll just flip and be all over the road without them. But for what you're trying to do it sounds better to not even bother putting the handling lines in.
panbot3000
Yeah, I tried it but then trying to fix the taxi bug drove me insane so I ended up just using the handling mod on its own lol. Thanks for the reply
