Senatov
Specs: iMac 3.2 GHz Intel Core i3 Premium Boot Camp 4 GB RAM ATI Radeon HD 5670 512 MB Hello, I installed GTA 4 and it worked fine on high settings. I just installed patch 7 and now it is a train wreck. Every time I open GTA 4, it identifies my computer having a different amount of VRAM each time. I uninstalled the game, and reinstalled it and worked fine on high settings but as soon as I install patch 7 it lags on the same settings as before. I want to use modifications that require patch 7, but something about it makes the game lag on medium/high settings. The main problem is the resolution. All of the other settings don't really make a big performance difference but for some reason if the resolution to 1920x1080 like it should work at, it lags. It says that I used 300/496 MB of vram, so it should not lag. One time it registered my VRAM at 1.7 GB which is also wrong. Something about patch 7 makes it not work properly. Any suggestions? mkey82
It says that I used 300/496 MB of vram, so it should not lag. One has nothing to do with the other. Patch 7 has raised system requirements, you should try lowering the shadow quality or resolution.
